    TMFL

On Saturday evening we will start the draft at 8PM EST. It will start on time.

In the past, Skype has been problematic for us, so this type we are going to try to use something called Mumble. It is very small, fast and high quality. I've set the TSO server up to allow us to do this. Here is what you need to do prior to the draft.

    PRIOR. TO. THE. DRAFT.

Once the draft starts, I will not troubleshoot your setup. You should be able to set this up beforehand and tell if it is going to work.

Here is what you need to do:

    1. Install the Mumble client on your device.

You need to download the client for your device:
Once it's downloaded, install it. It will walk you through setting up audio during this installation. It's not the most intuitive thing, but you should be able to figure it out.

    2. Connect to the TSO server.
    • Start Mumble
    • Add New
    • Fill out the form:
    Label: TSO
    Address: 173.248.128.60
    Port: 64738
    Name: [Your Name]
    Password: ts0iss1m (That's TEE-ESS-ZERO-EYE-ESS-ESS-ONE-EMM)
    • Click OK
    • Click on the Server you just added, click connect.
At this point, you should be connected. I've created a room called TMFL, if you aren't already in it, you can right click and join.

If you have any problems, post in this thread and I will help you.

Also, if you want to setup push to talk (you hold CTRL to talk so people don't listen to you farting in your chair), thank Baron for that.:

Step 1: Open the Mumble Client

    Step 2: Click on Configure

Step 3: Go to the Shortcuts Tab

    Step 4: Click Add

Step 5: Click on the "Unassigned" and then the drop down arrow, select Push-to-Talk.

Step 6: Click on the Shortcut button and then hit the shortcut you want to use. (I use the left control button but feel free to use whatever you want.)

    Step 7: Click Ok.

Step 8: Congratulate yourself now we won't have to hear your wife sobbing about how you never spend any time with her, your kids shitting themselves, your dogs barking at their balls except when you want us to.

Are you running Mumble or Mumble (Backwards Compatible)?

I tried on both. On Mumble it would crash before the password prompt, on Backward Compatible it would crash after I put in the password...

Run it as Administrator, if that doesn't work, try running it in XP Compatablity mode.

Neither worked. It even attempted to run it as an admin under XP Compatability mode

Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it.

Is the iPhone app pretty easy, I may look into that option if I decide to be on the draft call. Might just follow along on the console. Shaun Mason

    Same instructions work for iPhone.

We had ~10 people on last night chatting testing it, it's nice.

Shaun Mason I'm using the Mac OSx operating system, put all the invo you said and it keeps same Reconnecting- Server Connection failed: The Remote host closed the connection.

EDIT- Got it fixed, works great now.

What did you do to fix it? I got that last night as well, but didn't care to troubleshoot at 1 in the morning :)

Ran Mumble instead of Mumble 11X . I just assumed Mumble 11x was the one for Mac and I was wrong.
