These are my top ten QB's using the excel roster evaluation tool I use. I wait certain ratings as more important like, throw power over speed. The highest you can get is a 330 raw number (doesn't include awareness) or a 347 Actual value (that includes awareness). I'm using the 330 number because I can't see awareness making a difference since we are controlling the QB. 330 is the number if a player had 99 in every category. Speed, Acceleration, Agility, Throw Power, Short, Medium, Deep Accuracy, Throw on the run, and Play Action.

What ever number the player gets is divided by the 330 number and the percent is the overall rating. This is a better way to figure out who is best since 99 is as high as you can go in Madden.

So here is the Elite 11 list.

    1. Russell Wilson- 96 overall (319/330)
    2. Johnny Manziel- 93 overall (307/330)
    3. Rich Doughty- 92 overall (303/330)
    3. Trip Burns- 92 overall (303/330)
    5. Johnny Martin- 90 overall (297/330)
    6. Cam Newton- 89 overall (295/330)
    6. Brett Hudson- 89 overall (295/330)
    6. Colin Kaepernick- 89 overall (295/330)
    9. Derek Carr- 88 overall (292/330)
    10. Macon Stallworth- 88 overall (290/330)
    10. Andrew Luck- 88 overall (290/330)

    Best of the Rest
    12. Traivon Guy- 88 overall (290/330) *He didn't make the 11 because Eagles. :)
    13. Nick Foles- 87 overall (287/330)
    14. Xavior Alexander- 87 overall (286/330)
    14. T.J. Bailey- 87 overall (286/330)
    16. Robert Griffin III- 86 overall (284/330)
    17. Aaron Rodgers- 86 overall (283/330)
    17. Teddy Bridgewater- 86 overall (283/330)
    19. Jarrett Bailey- 85 overall (281/330)
    19. Cal Baca- 85 overall (281/330)
    21. Andy Dalton- 85 overall (280/330)
    21. Konrad Blanchard- 85 overall (280/330)
    23. Orlan Watkins- 84 overall (279/330)
    24. Jimmy Garoppolo- 84 overall (277/330)

Jimmy Garoppolo is not on the list?

    Your list is wrong, Charter.

I added 13 more of the best of the rest. Really Guy was the same grade as the two that tied for 11th but, Elite 11 sounded better than Elite 12. Plus he's an Eagle.

Awareness matters..... Awareness effects QBs who miss open receivers when pressured (defender near) plus higher AWR for a QB makes them less likely to be rattled on the road

I don't know man. I haven't seen or read anything that leads me to believe Awareness matter for user controlled QB's. I haven't notice any difference in using Romo with around 90 awr or Hudson with 70. Might just be placebo.

Riley's 250... 76 overall.. About right. So many great qbs!

On a side note, I don't think speed and accel really should be equated for qbs because many great qbs are very slow and it would negatively influence most of the slower greats like Brady, manning, Favre.

I like the idea a lot and it clearly shows who's reqliy good better than normal overalls but just s thought.

Also, what does agility measure for s qb??

It's pretty easy to change the formula. Really speed, agility, and acc are all lowest in how I set it up. The passing attributes are the biggest factor. All the top guys on the list have great numbers in those categories.

The reason I still value running ratings is because they help. Imagine if Manning and Brady could run some. Rodgers is a great example. He's not a scrambler but, being able to move makes him that much more dangerous.

Agility for would be the same for everyone. When they scramble its used.

This is how I have it broken down. It could be different for each team. kind of like schemes. This was just my set up.

I took 9 ratings categories. Awareness is one too but, it's only used in the actual value. I get both numbers.

Each ratings has a weight in groups of three. That's how the spread sheet works.

    Highest, high, and medium.

I have THP, STA, and MTA highest.
I have DTA, THR, and PAC high.
    Spd, agi, acc are medium.

That's how I value the QB position in Madden. Someone my like Short, med, deep acc highest. Some THP, spd, Throw on the run.

    Just a matter of opinion.

Kaepernick up there still makes me chuckle. . Giants must have got him right because he wasn't good to start the file, then the niners and Falcons had a fall, so for him to still be chugging along with no regression is impressive.

I was surprised at his ratings. They are pretty nice. He's 95 overall even according to Madden. 95thp, 88 sta, and 88 MTA. I think he's been getting some attention by the Giants as far as xp goes.

I working on a list if I take the running ratings out. Just focus on the passing attributes.

I think charter04 's formula is stupid because Garoppolo is the greatest QB of all time!

... when he wants to play.
