    TMFL ROOKIE DRAFT THIS SUNDAY

Ok guys the draft will be this Sunday. The time was tentatively scheduled to be for 1:30 EST and I know some of the guys out west won't be able to make that time. So I will propose an 8 PM EST draft time this sunday.

I want to get a head count for who can make 1 or both of those times.

    Both
    HotRod (Eagles)
    Jerseymadden (Chiefs)

I can make both. I have a question though if you don't mind..

Not sure how the draft management works in the franchise but lets say tonight we have the top 3 teams on at the same time. is there a way you can start it, let them make their pick, then pause it? then keep it going this way until Sunday?

just a thought, it would be nice if that were possible but then I guess you'd have to around 24/7 lol. I'm not looking forward to this headache come SMFL offseason, you were organized I have a feeling I will be a mess

Yeah I dunno. I'm not familiar with the draft management myself and I'd hate for something to go wrong and the draft get screwed up without the majority of people around to make picks.

yeah I don't think that'd work. There are some draft preview videos on youtube, look like if you're going and a pick comes up without owner on it'll pick by draft board or CPU will autopick. So I don't think if it starts the next pick you'd be able to pause it in time to keep it from auto-drafting.

I'm available both times on sunday.

Both...prefer the earlier time.....anyone else heard of a thing called Tivo/DVR??? Supposedly with this thing you can record a live football game and watch it later.

The lions need to be at the draft lol Teams who were in the playoffs dont need it as much as those who are rebuilding

Guys I'm going to start a thread for Round 1 of the draft. BBJ suggested we just put our pick choices out there here. I figure if we know how round 1 is going to go we can make the draft easier in the later round and if anything if something goes wrong in round 1 I can just put the 1st round picks on the right teams. Sound good?

ya might as well start doing picks now, on the board. Get the first round knocked out then no one will have major problems, and we can start it at 1pm sunday lol

plus choosing ahead of time will make it easier for people who received draft picks in trades, since the original team still has to select the player

We're just going to stick with 1:30. If you can't make it set up your draft board accordingly. We should have most of the 1st round picks declared hopefully.

I'm with Maisler. We need to try to get through this stuff online. The people who traded for draft picks are going to get screwed. If the guy that traded the pick doesn't make the draft than the guy that received the pick won't get to pick.

As you can see from the activity on these boards, not every owner is fully invested in this thing.
