Well were running behind a tad, so I am going to kick this thing off. I announced the first batch of nominees in the podcast, but somebody's being a turd and has not uploaded it yet.

Vote on whoever you think deserves to win. For me, I look for players performances that made a big difference in the game to help their team win. Also, players who post big numbers in close games get the edge over players who played in non close games. But thats me, everyone can vote any way they like. Hopefully everyone has fun with this. If you haven't already, go read my thread I made earlier today to see more details on the setup and rules of the POTW.

So lets get the voting started! This poll, as will every POTW poll will be closed in 2 days.

I voted for Cassel. Before the match I thought Atlanta would win. Without Cassel I think KC easily losses that game, so he overcame the odds and out gunned one of the better teams in the league. Everyone of those guys played extra huge last week, but Cassel's performance stands out a bit.

Looks like Cassel is running away with it. I voted for Cassel too, even though it was tough not to vote for my boy Felix. It's nice to see he got a couple votes though.

I couldn't help vote for my own guy. I am usually unbiased in this type of thing, but I felt he was the most deserved candidate. Being in the game, going into OT, and riding Cassel's arm forced my vote.

Just to note - 1 of his 2 interceptions was on a long hail-mary toss at the end of the 1st half.

Matt Cassel is our week 1 winner with 11 votes. Next closest was Felix Jones with 2 votes. I believe Cassel went the whole year last season without getting the award. So nice job to him and congrats to @Subkontraktor
