    Falcons Send:

    WR -Roddy White - Age: 32- Years Pro: 9 - 84OVR

    Cap Penalty: $0

This was a very difficult decision for the Front Office of Atlanta. Roddy White has had a long impressive career with the Atlanta Falcons. He is the best WR in Falcons history (honorable mention WR Terrance Mathis). A combination of factors led to this very tough decision: improved play at WR by other players, the team's 1-4 start, a focus on the future and being relevant

We wish you well Roddy White and will be hoping that you get a shot at that elusive Superbowl ring with the 3-1 Vikings.

    Vikings Send:

2nd round draft pick Vikings (2016)
3rd round draft pick Vikings (2016)

    Total Penalty: N/A

    EDITED 2016 draft picks

The Falcons respectfully agree to this trade! Thanks JSimms !

The second round draft pick offered to the Falcons is going to be contingent on the Browns/Vikings trade (quoted above). The Vikings have accumulated enough draft picks for 2015 to send both picks to the Falcons and still meet the minimum threshold of five draft picks per draft.

I approve this trade; 1 of 2. The transaction may not be processed until the conclusion of week 5; or once both teams have completed their week 5 games. This is the Vikings third and final trade for 2014.

    Thanks CHUNKNESS
I was not aware of this...sorry you had to dig up the trade info...but I appreciate it
Seems like i'm getting good news out of this? Am I reading this correctly that I will get whichever pick is NOT later...ergo I'll get the earlier 2015 2nd rounder?

Note: Were I not involved, I would make a recommendation that the contingency from the earlier trade be voided by this trade. I have no problem upholding my agreement there though. This scenario does make me reconsider allowing those types of contingencies going forward. Nice catch Doug!

Wait a minute...my offer wasn't for this year's 2nd and 3rd, but for next years...why would my trade with Browns come into play??

I'm fine with the revision. Similar compensation; different year.
