    Skins Send:
    Daimone Burns - CB - 90 OVR
    Cap Penalty - 4.14 million

    Saints Send:
    1st Round , #10 pick
    No Cap Penalty

Skins drafted two stud CB's in 2019, both starter quality (McClure and Walden), making Burns tradeable. the additional 1st rounder will allow us to draft a position of need elsewhere. Skins agree. Thanks.

Please remember player age when posting trades. Also, the cap penalty for trading Burns is $6.9M, not $4.14M.

One Fool Proof way to avoid not listing the correct or complete information
Copy and paste one of Doug's or Jim's trades into your thread....then just fill in the information for YOUR specific players/teams...then you will always know you have everything you need. I'm pretty surprised how often the correct format is not followed.

So the cap penalty isn't the amout leftover on the 3 the three years remaining on his contract?

His signing bonus was $11.5M for 5 years. That's $2.3M per year multiplied by the 3 years remaining on his contract = $6.9M cap penalty. The bonus remaining on the contract is the only penalty applied to your team's salary cap.
