TRADE DEADLINE HAS PASSED. NO MORE TRADING UNTIL THE OFFSEASON.

When you and your trading partner come to an agreement on a trade, you must first submit the trade for approval by the trade committee. Please use the following format for submitting trades:

    Team A @user

Player A, Pos AGE OVR (Team A, Team B)
Player B, Pos AGE OVR (Team A, Team B)
    Year Round Draft Pick

    Team B @user

Player A, Pos AGE OVR (Team A, Team B)
Player B, Pos AGE OVR (Team A, Team B)
    Year Round Draft Pick

    Reason:

Please copy and paste the above format into your proposal with the necessary info filled out.

    majesty95, Jbbubba, Crumbler81, woodsmall, YungLew15

Committee members either "like" the post if you agree or quote the trade proposal and say "deny". You may give a brief explanation for your decision in order for the parties to understand what they need to do to gain approval.

    Trades are approved when:

3/5 of committee "likes" the trade submission
3/4 of committee "likes" a trade between a committee member and another user
2/3 of committee "likes" a trade between two committee members

Please no likes or comments from anyone not submitting a trade or voting on a submission.

Commissioner's Note: (09/19/12 12:28AM CST) Beginning immediately, when submitting a trade to the committee please include each player's OVR on each of the teams involved. (Each team will need to get this from the roster screen) For example, if the Browns were trading Joe Player to the Jets. You would include in the trade proposal Joe Player's OVR as seen by both the Browns and Jets. I have updated the format above to account for this. If you have any questions, please PM me (do not comment in this thread). Thanks!

    3rd Round Pick 2013
LOLB Josh Kaddu, 69 OVR, 22 years old, Dolphins' 5th round pick in 2012
Reason: Chance to acquire an elite CB to solidify secondary and the Dolphins think highly of Iloka.

    Cincinnati Bengals, fpuent
CB Nate Clements, 87 OVR, 32 years old
FS George Iloka, 67 OVR, 22 years old, Bengals' 5th round pick in 2012
Reason: Bengals have too much depth at CB and want to get Kirkpatrick on the field more. Kaddu add much needed to depth to the front seven, considering the Bengals plan to run the 5-2 and Nascar formation on top of the 4-3 Kaddu will add much needed to youth and stamina.

Here is the list of teams who have used their 80+ and or 90+ OVR trades. Committee members, please refer to this when accepting/vetoing trades.

    Chicago slicknick202 Used 90+ (One 80+ remaining)
Cincinnati fpuent Used 80+ (One 80+ or one 90+ remaining)
Indianapolis MZizzle2 Used 80+ (One 80+ or one 90+ remaining)
Jaguars Jbbubba Used 90+ (One 80+ remaining)
New Orleans Cole Copeland Used 90+ (One 80+ remaining)
Philadelphia Big John Used 80+ (One 80+ or one 90+ remaining)

I'm a little confused on the reasoning of trading Nate Clements (87 ovr). That's a high profile player for barely any compensation. Please provide better reasoning or better compensation. Until then "Deny"

To keep the thread clean, create a PM with each member of the trade committee in it. Then everything can be discussed back and forth. Otherwise, by the 2nd to 3rd page this thread will be a mess to navigate.

TE Kevin Boss, 75 OVR, Age 28
MLB Brandon Siler, 78 OVR, Age 26

Reason: Trading Boss gets rid of his 3 Year, 9M contract and allows Moeaki to be my primary TE (better pass catcher) until I draft my TE of the future. Siler is my 3rd string MLB that will rarely see the field so he is expendable.

    Miami Dolphins, MarkyMark67

    2014 3rd Round Pick
    2013 5th Round Pick

Reason: Siler steps in and becomes the second starting MLB along with Dansby. Siler is a clear upgrade over MLB Spitler (68 OVR). Boss is also a slight upgrade over Fasano, who would be a FA after this season.

    **BLOCKBUSTER TRADE**
    New Orleans Saints Cole Copeland
QB Drew Brees (Age 33, OVR 91)
HB Darren Sproles (Age 29, OVR 88)
RE Will Smith (Age 31, OVR 89)
    Chicago Bears slicknick202
QB Jay Cutler (Age 29, 86 OVR)
HB Matt Forte (Age 26, 93 OVR)
Reasoning: The Saints are looking for an Elite QB and HB but also would like more youth as Drew Brees and Will Smith are growing older. The Bears are looking for pieces to win now.

    Trade!!!!

    San Francisco 49ers
They Ted Ginn Jr, WR, 27, 71 OVR

    Miami Dolphins MarkyMark67
    2013 6th Round Pick
    2014 5th Round Pick

Reason: San Fran has 6 WR on roster and is looking to trade one and Miami is looking for another wide receiver for depth and kick off returns

The above trade was supposed to say 2014 for the 6th round pick instead of 2013. I don't think that should make a difference but we will let the committe vote again. Please just like this post if you agree that the trade should still proceed.

Don't approved. Eagles giving up a good young star that will hit 90+ overall next season for a old declining DE that has a lower overall. Maclin has more value and eagles aren't receiving good enough value.

TRADE: Between Jaguars and the Dolphins:

    Jaguars trade:

    LOLB D.Smith 91 ovr, age 30

    WR L.Robinson 79 ovr, age 27

Reason for trade: The Jags get younger and more early draft picks. Also saving salary cap room.

    Dolphins trade:

    LOLB K.Misi 76ovr, age 25

    WR R.Matthews 69ovr, age 22

    1st round pick in 2014

    3rd round pick in 2013

Reason for trade: The Fins get a top OLB for there defense, and better at WR that will start in the West Coast offense.

Maclin doesn't fit my system quite as well as it does his. He is an 81 rating on my team and Freeney is a 96 so it isn't as much of a rating difference really.

We need the OVR for each player and what their OVR is on each team. The format is listed in the first post. All trades going forward need to follow that.

Also, tag each member of the committee so they know to vote. Just edit your post when you have the overalls. Thanks!

coachgaddy OVR is different by team so we need to know what it is for each team.
