    Trade Between Giants and Eagles

Giants send: Kareem McKenzie, Chris Canty, Aaron Ross, Osi Umenyiora, 1st round pick, 3rd round pick
Giants receive: 7th round pick, J Chaney, Michael Vick, Jeremy Maclin
Eagles send: 7th round pick, J Chaney, Michael Vick, Jeremy Maclin
Eagles receive: Kareem McKenzie, Chris Canty, Aaron Ross, Osi Umenyiora, 1st round pick, 3rd round pick

It is obvious that this trade is lopsided in the Eagles favor. However, the Giants are over the cap and need to dump salary, plus they get a bit of compensation in Jeremy Maclin, a speed receiver that they desperately need.

The commish approves, I obviously understand why the move was made.

You have been warned about Michael Vick though :)

Yes, I gotcha, I will continue to play sim style, and he was more of a throw in to get the trade through.

Well, you don't need to justify anything to me. If you're sitting back there with him and you go through your reads and don't see it, or if you see the pressure, then you are 100% free to take off.

Its when you run with him excessively, or call boot plays and run all over the place, or call a shotgun pass play and just take off running, that you will raise eyebrowns.

We hold everyone to a higher standard around here but I'm confident in the guys we brought in. They wouldn't have taken all the time to fill out a spreadsheet and do all of this stuff if they weren't serious about being sim players.

Have fun with it man. Cowboys, Giants and Eagles are going to be some fun matchups to monitor.

And Vick is not my starter anyway. I'd only put him in for 5-10 plays a game, as a wildcat quarterback in some instances, as a regular quarterback for others

Keep in mind again, that, that sort of thing raises eyebrows. Wildcat is something that I will be monitoring. It was completely banned in 10 from sim leagues because of its over effectiveness. If it turns out to be the same way this year, it will be banned again.

If you do not want me running wildcat, I won't do it

I didn't say don't do it. I said I will be monitoring it.

As always mix up your play calls, don't call it every 3rd and short and you'll probably be okay.

Myself, I probably won't use it at all.

I wouldn't use it on 3rd downs, it would be more of a 1st and 10 thing
