Trade Deadline is the end of week 10

Just was reminded that not everyone... infact half of you, are in your first season with the Ten Year War and would have no idea that the trade deadline is the end of week 10.

We changed it during season 2, because it made more sense for the league. The quick turn arounds on the games mean that you only had a calendar week an a half to find your weaknesses and hammer out a deal, therefore I figured I'd basically let you play 6-8 games, and leave you about 2-3 days to hammer out a deal. (yes sometimes it takes that long).

ah, cool.. so how do trades work? Do we just make a post announcing it? Does the commish do the drop/adds, or do we have to try and get online to do it

Post it so the other user can publically post that this is infact the trade and he accepts.

Then drop the guy, and pick up the other, or if it's draft picks, we'll start a trades that invole future draft picks pinned thread to keep track of those.

User-User trades there is no review... but I do with hold the right to step in if something doesn't seem right. :D

Was very tempted when you initially posted who was on your trading block, almost as far as sending you a what do you want.... however Carolina needs something better then a future star, they need someone to start and dominate next season.

So with my top ten pick I think I'll be ok.

BTW - you may wind up picking ahead of me, Carolina 27, SF 25 in a cpu sim.

What are you looking for Orisis? I may be willing to deal someone for him.

Major Wright is the guy on your team that I like the most. Bears really are thin in many many areas! I'd need more then just Major Wright though, perhaps a 2nd round draft pick and Major Wright?

hmm I don't trade my 1st and 2nd rounders and I don't think we can trade any rounds after that. Wright could defiantly by dealt though. Wright and a replacement DT like Anthony Adams? (71 ovr) or another players similar to Wright.

Not sure what else you have that I need. Bears are pretty thin. I need a pass rushing OLB. Don't really need a replacement DT. I have two players that can play DT on the team and runnign a 3-4 that is plenty.

I'm ok with trading other draft picks... just would have to put a stop to the outlandish. There are quality guys in the 3-5 round, they just get exponentially harder to find.

    I'd do a 1st Rounder and Wright/Harris for Mays.

As for the DT I could pry do Wright and a 3rd Round Pick.

Think I'll pass on the trade and see if I can shop him during the off season before the draft.

Trading with the cpu is allowed. Pyscho has to review the trade and it most likely would benefit the cpu.

So it would be like Ben Roethlisberger and my 2nd round pick for Colt McCoy and the Browns second round pick. Probably third. May be a bad example but it take a lot for Psycho to approve a trade with a cpu. This is to encourage trading with another user.

I could trade away Stefan Logan. He is a 90 OVR returner with 93 SPD 95 ACC 93 AGI.

It's legal... although I have to approve it and I do bot approve anything that is a speed upgrade, or you haven't first attempted a trade with users.

Definition of speed upgrade is taking a guy slow at his position and trading him for someone fast. ie high overall, slow (mid 80's) receiver and trading him for a high 70 spd DE.
