    Tradition II HALL OF FAME....

Ok, I think it is time.

Tradition II needs a Hall of Fame. There have been great players that have carried teams to conference championships, and national titles, and broken ridiculous records.

I think each User should come up with 5 names, none can be active of the best players they think have careers that merit induction into the TTII Hall of Fame.

    My five:

Blaine Gabbert - Im pretty sure he owns every passing record on the game.
Tyler Westphal - Im pretty sure he is the best defensive player in this league's history
Ron Guidry - Scariest player I have played against, and ridiculous numbers
Courtney Hill - Only player that probably retired after college because he had nothing left in the tank.
Javad Best - Put up ridiculous numbers and though I never played against him, from everything I've read he was a beast.

    Remember no active players.

    1. Tyler Westphal ---never played him and glad i didn't

    2. Mr. Hill ---- the Blintnekoff Award was renamed for him.

    3. That MLB from Oregon St. ---- anytime a LB has double digits in int's and those #'s.

    4. Gabbert----I think he had 100 TD's in one year.

    5. They Illini and Iowa secondaries as collective groups

Tyler Westphal for sure. I think him and Courtney Hill are first ballot guys for sure.

Illini QB Marcus Mason deserves some credit for leading back to back Nat'l Champ teams.

Wisc HB Tim Watkins set the rushing TD mark.

Blaine Gabbert had the best arm in the game. It helps he had Maclin to throw to for a couple years, though.

I agree that Westphal and Hill are no-brainer locks.

I'd give the third spot to Guidry, in part because of the Cinderella nature of his story (2 star recruit becomes dominant All American).

For the fourth slot, I'd go with Ryan Marshall. Basically a tie with Watkins, but I don't want Wisconsin to have two players in on the first ballot.

Finally, I'd vote for Best. Although he had two great years for me, he really clinched his spot during TT2's first year of existence when he led UofMWolverine to the national title.

You guys are pretty much nailing it.

I would like to add Joe McKnight. When he transferred to Arizon he was killing me.

    1) Guidry - straight killed me his first game.
    2) Best - I have never seen someone own the game like he did.
    3) the Iowa WR (hill i think), he was putting up some insane numbers
    4) watkins - also put up some freakish numbers
