    Trifecta week 3 P.O.T.W.

I figured I'd get a jump on this week too....

Offense: Robbie Rouse 32-151-1td, 2 rec. 21 yds

Offensive Player of the Game: Saine 15 carries 149 yards 3 TD

Saine had a mediocre game, except for a 99 yard TD on the first play of a drive. The run was surprisingly easy. The safeties came up to lineup scrimmage but tight ends and tackles opened a small lane. Saine hit the hole and was off to the races.

Defensive Player of the Game: Chekwa 2 interceptions, 2 pass deflections

Chekwa had 0 tackles because he didn't allow 1 completion on his side of the field. He is the Nnamdi Asomugha of the the Ohio State defense. All the Buckeye interceptions were on his side of the field and he could have picked off 3 if Johnson didn't steal the last one. Soon to be former Heisman candidate Kellen Moore learned the hard way about not throwing to that side of the field.

Nope, this was a 10 point game with Wisconsin driving with under a minute to play. My running game was nonexistent, and with the way Clay was chewing up yards in the 2nd half I went with what was working.

I hear ya, I knew I was chucking it a lot, but didn't realize the yards and tds until after the game was over.

The week 3 Trifecta P.O.T.W. award winners have been announced.

The offensive P.O.T.W. is Houston QB Case Keenum (not pictured) who had a monster day in a big win over #8 Wisconsin. Case threw for 500 yards and 7 td's in the victory for the undefeated Cougars.

The defensive P.O.T.W. is Ohio State CB Chimdi Chekwa who intercepted two more passes and broke up 2 passes in Ohio State's victory over Boise St on the smurf turf.

Congratulations to both players for having a great week 3!
