    Trifecta's 1st edition Power Rankings -

Rank Logo Team Record Change Comments
1 [IMG] Ohio State 4-0 [IMG] Ohio State comes in ranked #1 and why wouldnt they be. The Buckeyes before their week 4 game had given up just 9 points in 3 games and after 4 weeks are averaging 43 points per game. Ohio State doesnt face any real threat until they travel week 7 to take on Wisconsin.
2 [IMG] Texas 4-0 [IMG] Texas comes in at #2 but I could easily have flip-flopped them with Ohio State due to facing better competition. The Longhorns have victories over FSU and Nevada. Gilbert has been a suprise replacing Colt Mccoy as he has thrown 8 TD's to just 2 INT's. Texas will need to continue playing mistake free football as they have some tough games coming up in the next few weeks vs #8 Pitt, #4 Nebraska and the Red River showdown vs long time rival #14 Oklahoma.
3 [IMG] Penn State 3-0 [IMG] Hokie and the Nittany Lions come in at 3 thanks to an impressive win over previously #1 Alabama in week 2. Royster has been the workload of the offense as he is averaging 164 yards per game and already has 9 TD's in just 3 games. The true test for Penn State will come this week when they face Iowa in an early Big 10 conference game.
4 [IMG] Fresno State 4-0 [IMG] BDS and his Dogs come in at 4 with a dramamtic win over UNLV. Fresno State also has wins vs previously ranked Oregon and Utah. The Dogs have been depending on Rouse to carry the load and he has but they must get more production from the passing game as Colbrun has 0 TD's and 6 INT's. BDS has 2 user games coming up vs Penn State and the one I have circled to watch in 3 weeks vs #19 Houston.
5 [IMG] Houston 3-0 [IMG] Dru and his Cougars may have been higher on this list but 3 games all vs the computer but dont sleep on this team. Houston is putting up over 50+ points per game including an impressive win over 12th ranked Wisconsin. Keenum is the early Heisman favorite as he has already passed for 1240 yards with 15 TD's. Expect them to pass early and often as their leading rusher has just 24 attempts on the season.
6 [IMG] Florida State 3-1 [IMG] Florida State brings in a balanced attack as they have the nations top rusher in Jermaine Thomas who already has nearly 600 yards and 11 TD's but they also have the #3 passing attack led by Christian Ponder. Florida State lost their season opener vs #2 Texas but has rolled off 3 straight wins including an impressive win at Oklahoma.
7 [IMG] Oklahoma 3-1 [IMG] The Sooners have been literally running over people with their 2 headed monster Murray and Calhoun. Calhoun has flourished since an injury occured to Murray as he has 317 yards and 7 TD's in limited playing time. The Sooner need more production from the passing game and need to limit the turnovers when going to the air.
8 [IMG] Iowa 3-1 [IMG] After an opening week loss to Clemson the Hawkeyes seem to be clicking rolling off 3 straight wins. If the Hawkeyes are going to compete with the likes of Ohio State and Penn State they are going to need Stanzi to step up and take this team to another level. A true test comes this week vs Penn State, a loss almost assures them of a 3rd place finish in the Big 10 but a win could go a long way in determining if they have what it takes to challenge Ohio State.
9 [IMG] Nevada 3-1 [IMG] This program is on its way up and it wont be long before they crack the top 25. Nevada won their first 3 games and gave the 2nd ranked Longhorns all they could handle in Austin before the Longhorns secured a 13 point victory. Nevada plays stout defense led by Moch who already has 4 sacks and runs a conservative style offense led by their QB Kaepernick who has yet to throw an INT.
10 [IMG] Minnesota 2-1 [IMG] Minnesota is another team that was a victim of the Longhorns. Despite the 14 point loss the Golden Gophers had a great performance as they traveled to So Cal and defeated the #18 USC Trojans. Its a long tough road for Minnesota as they have games vs Penn State, Ohio State, Iowa and Wisconsin. Minnesota's defense will be the key if they remain compeittive led by Jacobs who already has 7 sacks on the season.
11 [IMG] Clemson 1-2 [IMG] Clemson has without a doubt had the toughest schedule to this point as they have already played 3 teams ranked in the top 25 losing to #1 Ohio State and a heartbreak loss in OT to #14 Oklahoma. Unfortunately it doesnt get any easier for the Tigers as they face #16 Miami and #17 Florida State over the next 2 weeks. If the Tigers are going to turn this thing around they need Kyle Parker to cut down on his 7 INT's half of which have ended scoring oppourtunites.
12 [IMG] UNLV 1-3 [IMG] The Rebels have had a rough start to the season due to Jman having to take a few games off due to his other responsibilities. The Rebs have lost 3 straight but have been in every game but 1 and had a heartbreaking OT loss to Utah. Fortunately for Jman the schedule does get easier as they should be in a better position by the time they face Houston in November. Expect the Rebels to start feeding Trotter the Ball as he has Avg'd 116 yards on the ground.

There we have em boys, feel free to leave feedback, questions, concerns. Feel you should be ranked higher? Prove it on the field and state your case :D

I think it is a conspiracy against Texas! 3 out of Texas 4 wins are against users and 3 out of OSU 4 wins are against the CPU!!

lol, As I stated above I could have flip flopped you guys but my reasoning was in 3 games Ohio State gave up just 9 points while averaging close to 50 points per game.
