Hey all, The staff is trying to streamline our content strategy, and we're recruiting a team of content managers, responsible for a given sports genre. Keep in mind that you won't be working alone - I'll be helping, as will other content managers. Soccer: Fifa, PES Football: Madden Baseball: The Show, OOTP, RBI Baseball Basketball: 2K, NBA Live Hockey: NHL Fighting: Fight Night, UFC Racing: Forza, Nascar, Need for Speed, The Crew, Drive Club, GT If you think of yourself as knowledgeable about any of the above games/sports, and are interested in producing/curating content for it, please let me know. You wouldn't have to necessarily pump out content yourself, provided you can organize and generate content through other members of the site who are knowledgeable enough themselves. Some examples of the kind of content I'm talking about: Game Reviews Showcasing league content pieces Strategy pieces on how to be more successful at a given game Patch/Game update notifications and commentary There are many other examples, these are just a few off the top of my head. If you're interested, responsible, and active on the site, please PM me. It's a great opportunity for whomever is selected.
I will contribute if I do end up with a next gen system, ie: The Show and Madden. I could help out on some OOTP also. If I were to nominate people: JFace907 2K, FIFA jms493 Forza PAgamer07 OOTP I'm sure I'll think of more later.
I'd be happy to pitch in. Unfortunately I only play Madden, though I might be willing to branch out. Also, if we want to branch out into non sports games I'd be willing to get some content going for some of the other next gen games on the Horizon..... Titanfall, Destiny, etc
Shaun and Drifter have final say, but I don't think generating content for non-sports stuff is a good idea at all from a strategic standpoint.
Wrapping up the full content team, last chance to throw your name in the hat. To those that have been speaking to me, I'll have more details coming to you shortly.
FWIW I think Wyrmreaver presents a great opportunity to expand the site's brand if there is a niche opportunity to expand into non-sports gamers that may be able to add value to the site
The more content the better Wyrmreaver , I'll never discourage it - it's just not a focus, nor should it be right now. I want to generate great sports gaming content, before focusing on any of that. That's like being right handed and trying to learn how to switch hit before your right-handed swing is good. Again, I'm not discouraging it - it's simply not a focus of mine right now.
