As I stated before, my theory is that we have reached the memory and processing limitations of the current gen consoles and won't see some of the stuff we really want to see until next-gen. This is especially true for OL/DL interaction. 'You guys as gamechangers' is a very broad brush. There are people in the group that couldn't care less about things like OL/DL interaction or gameplay in general. However, I can assure you that the gamechangers from this site are going "push" and focus on things that promote a more sim gaming experience.
Is there a route/play/audible/anything that lets RB's chip this year? Chip blocks have been missing for far too long.
Has there been any change to pass rushers and their animations at all? For example, one of the issues I brought up in an older post is that Dwight Freeney, Tamba Hali, and James Harrison all feel exactly the same as pass rushers off the edge. There's little to no variation. Can Von Miller dip his shoulders and just blow past an inferior tacke? Quality edge rushers are consistently the most valuable defensive players in the NFL, (which is why LTs are consistently right there with them in terms of value). In today's Madden, pressure seems to be far more random and/or just shitty blocking AI (need I mention the whole OG doing invisible paddycake with defenders and just shadowing him?) rather than the result of a great pass rusher.
didnt read the intire thread so my apologies if this been asked already but; -are auto subs working this year?
Another question Shaun or Drifter: I don't know if you've seen this 4 minute q & a. Some of the footage is from the first trailer, some is newer. Were the tackles toned down on the versions you played ? I'm only assuming they were showing off the impact hit stick. I think I read earlier in some thread that Shaun likes the harder hits, and I do too, but not on all tackles. Ideally, I'm looking for more wrap-up tackles. Thanks. ps- thanks for the kind comments the first time around. http://blip.tv/gotgame/ea-sports-season-opener-2013-madden-nfl-25-6576989
I didn't go to the "Season Opener". My comment was I like the new Hit Stick mechanic. Not because of the "harder hit" but that it was much more risky. It's nice to light someone up, but it's also nice to see the balance of failing become more in line with the reward for the hit.
Hi there. Im new here, but I like the work you guys do. Thanks for answering these questions. Mine is, and Im sure its very minor to most, but is there plans to have the stadium sounds, fight songs, and team specific chants working this year? I cant beileve there was never an answer last year to why it only worked in Buffalo, and it was so quiet you could barely hear it. It seems like a huge waste to tout a partnership with NFL films and use ZERO content from them......Thanks in advace for the response.
