1. Can players be injured in practice mode, that would cause them to miss games? 2. How in-depth / specitic are the sliders? 3. Would we have the ability to edit draft slots? Unless of course by some miracle they incorporated actual NFL tiebreeakers into the game, I just hate when team with best record picks last instead of the super bowl champion. 4. Would we have the ability to fix/edit contract numbers, similar to the freedom we had with XFN? Thanks before hand!!!
Really? I thought it was useful for cpu controlled defenders and blockers as well... That is unfortunate that it is a worthless rating.
Then why is awareness so closely tied to a players overall? Not saying you are wrong, just saying it seems overall rating is severaly flawed.
Exactly why people like Emmdotfrisk and I have been telling people forever that overall isn't useful.
Ones footwork and ones strength, so I'm assuming footwork is how well an o linemen moves side to side and set up blocks while strength is how strong he is
STR is how strong a guy is. But there is a difference between being able to bench 400 LBS and being able to hold a guy on a block. I realize that you were being fasicious, just quoted you when answering the question. In M12, pbs, pbf, rbs and rbf were the main things I looked for in O-Linemen, along with Impact Blocking.
I looked for Str, pbf, rbf. But I'm pretty sure non of it mattered too much. The interactions of olinemen was not the greatest so you could not tell who was dominant.
Emmdotfrisk - can you explain how its possible for a player to come into the league (as a rookie) with a 95 CIT (catch in traffic) rating, but, a 60 Catch Rating? Does that mean, he drops the easy ones and catches the ones where he has guys around him? Logic?
It happens in real life. For what ever reason a guy concentrates more for the harder catches than an easy one over the middle. Or they try to make a play before ever catching the ball.
How is the CPU logic during player cutting phases of pre-season? Are they making smart cuts or do they still cut quality players to take chances on unknown rookies like they did in Madden 12?
