I haven't really noticed it, I'll look for it today. The gaps are different thought, physics changes everything, harder to crash gaps with LB's, they can actually get tripped up.
I wasnt aware you could spy a specific player with the exception of the QB spy. Is this a reference to spotlighting?
You put a specific defender in spy, not spy a specific offensive player. basically 'hot routing' a defender pre snap
Another question about crashing DL, there is an exploit in m12 that if you shift DL and crash the same side, DEs get through untouched at times, even with three man rush. Has this been addressed?
Yes, but the way i am reading the original post was that he wanted to specifically spy an offensive player. Meaning he wants to hot route a defender to watch one specific offensive player.
sgibbs: that was with dime - has been fixed - also worked in bear but it was with a 5 man rush as well as 5-2 so those are legit-ish
They are also in 3-2-6 formation or something similar to that and essentially all the 4-3 formations and with only 3 to 4 man rush...
thanks for the response, but this isn't what I asked. Lets say me and 31 other guys are in a coach mode CCM. Has EA given any thought to letting us continue that CCM from Madden 13 into Madden 14? Seems like now would finally be a good time for them to start thinking about being able to convert Madden 13 ccms into Madden 14 ccms.
Madden 14 will likely be on the new Xbox, right? So I'm not sure it is a good year for them to look into legacy file continuation.
It was also 4-3 Over and Under last year. Shift to open DE side; crash to that side; hot blitz DE on the crash side. DE went in untouched.
This may be a pointless question, but in terms of Super Bowl venues, does it change around, are their announcements throughout the seasons of which city gets the bids?
I thought the amount of int's linebackers would get was unrealistic and DB's intercepting passes with their back to the ball. Have those issues been changed?
Thanks for looking into this. I guess my question has more to do with how the CPU does roster cuts in the off season. In Madden 12 there would be a decent number of people on your roster with their ratings hidden from you (mainly in the form of undrafted rookies.) As you went through the preseason you would get a better idea of their attributes week to week. The CPU often would cut known players thinking these rating hidden players would have ratings significantly higher then they ended up with. The led CPU teams to loose much of their roster depth to keep unknowns that were in the 40s or 50s OVR. Was this problem fixed? It was the number one killer of Madden franchise for me last year.
with RTP. does the 3-4 work as it supposed to now? as in the OLB getting the pressure and sacks and not the D linemen.
Awareness didn't have a huge impact on the overall ratings for players in NCAA other than QB. For QB, a 3 point swing in awareness meant a 1 point swing in the overall rating generally speaking. For every other position a 10 point swing in awareness would only result in a 1 point swing in overall rating (or less). Here is a spreadsheet to see the formula breakdown for NCAA 11. I never calculated it for NCAA 12 but it was probably similar. This was based on a pocket scout recruiting database and I could predict the overall perfectly for 97 to 98% of the players with the other guys only off by one point. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArB9QSYxv2ZGdG0yeldBdHI1T2RocHhVTnBrajJqRmc&hl=en#gid=0
Is the slider for FG accuracy split this year between user and cpu? It's always too easy to kick FGs without adjusting this for the user but when you drop it the cpu would miss too much.
