Its tough to say as they were still tuning. I felt that the OL blocks much better... Holds the edges, good kick out blocks and seals. With RTP over pursuing OLB's get easily pushed out on Power plays.
First of all, ratings are completely different. OVR is based on the big 5: Physical - How athletically talented for their position Size - How is their player type, body type (height, weight, muscle) for their position Production - How they are producing for their position Durability - Stamina and Injury Intangibles - Knowledge of the game. So Teams cut players based on this. Also, no ratings are hidden. From the second you sign your drafted rookies, you get to see all of their ratings, which can progress. OVR will be low, but it will only contain 4 of the 5 BIG 5 ratings. Roster Depth is still an issue because you can only have 55 players on your regular season squad. Each team starts with 75 in the preseason, but has to cut. The real interesting thing is that OVR does matter, somewhat but it will require a deep look into every player to see his Production rating. For example, I drafted a guy in college who played at North Dakota St in college and broke all rushing records but didn't get the invite to the combine. His production rating was a 75, but when he came into Training camp, he was a 71 OVR w/o production. On the other hand, I drafted a QB who was in the heisman race, who had 99 production, but then had a terrible combine. He came in as a 48 OVR w/o production. So what the CCM dev team has done has given value to rookies with a combination of drafted round, but also ovr and production. So If I drafted the 48 ovr QB in the first round. My CPU would try and hold on to them, until their contract was up and re-evaluate. I must say that the FA pool looked realistic. There were times with 70+ OVR guys in there but for the most part is was 60 or less
you will be pleasantly suprised with this. I knew Brian Cushing's days were numbered, but I didn't know it would be this quick... ryty32 BobJr sdid22
I am happy to report that the Super Bowl Venue changes yearly. I played 8 seasons of CCM and made it to two superbowls. One in New Orleans, and the other in Miami.
I hope there are at least a handful of very good young players in the FA pool. Last year it seemed like there were never any good young players in there. The only decent players were really old ones and the younger players were good for depth or mediocre starters. In the real NFL most good young talent does get locked up but there are always some good young players available. This year we saw Mario Williams become a FA along with Brandon Carr, Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks. I do hope a few Pro Bowl type young players make it to FA more often than M12.
I do remember that in HC 09, you must deactivate 5 pleayers before proceeding to play a game. will we have to deactivate 5 players (especially if you're playing a coach)? Also, weather - i hate it when you play a game and it rains the whole time. Sometimes it should start raining in a middle of a game or vice versa. have they anything regarding weather?
In regards to weather, will wind matter in online CCM? Doesn't this year Also, will throwing in the rain be as hard? I understand it's difficult to throw in the rain, but I found M12 unrealistically so.
I'm the only receiver whos going to get open on this play! I'm going to slip and fall out of my break now! Weeee!
Good question peench. I don't think wind was in the game yet because I didnt notice it at all. As for rain, I didnt play in 1 rainy game either.
