We kick off the TTCC (Tradition Touring Car Championship) with a 22-lap race at Silverstone Grand Prix. We have one man down this week (Bondzai) and Gravityyy is going to be filling in for him.

The details of this race will be as follows:

    LAPS: 22
PIT STOPS: 1 Mandatory Pit Stop between Lap 8 and Lap 18

    ASSISTS

    TCS Allowed
    ABS Allowed
    STM forced off
    Braking Line Allowed

GRID ORDER: Random (will be random all season)

    PI:

All Cars at 650 for the first week. Please note: With this series we will be adjusting PI as we go. I will use a combination of the standings as well as just "eyeballing it" and knowing people's ability as we go along to adjust people's PI either upward or downward by a maximum of 10 points in a week.

If for instance somebody is at the back of the pack every week they could end up driving a 700 PI car by week 6 or whatever...

    POINTS
    1st - 10 points
    2nd - 8 points
    3rd - 6 points
    4th - 3 points
    5th - 2 points
6th through 16th: 1 point apiece for finishing the race.

RACE TIMER: None - We wait for everybody. Please do not leave the race lobby until I have confirmed that I have the finish for everybody.

Please save the replay not only for yourself but in case I don't save it. I'd like to see some race photos and summaries of how your races went.

Is there anything I'm missing? Any Questions?

Due to lack of funding and building a car on a short turnaround time etc., the only car we could get was this dirty old thing!

PS... To whomever is driving a BMW jms493

I found a storefront guy that has some really nice, really accurate replica paints. some german kid. Nice kid too, I asked him via google translate if he could get me a "sauber" (clean) version of the paint above and he did it within 10 minutes... lol.

If you go to my storefront, and click my favorites, it is the kid with the BMWD (or something like that) car club tag. He might have a paint for your ride.

I've been meaning to research this but haven't had the time. Do the cars that race professionally use TCS/ABS? Just curious. I'm starting out in the game and would like to play based on the most sim settings possible rather than learning using assists that aren't used on the real track.

And thanks for the paint jobs on the BMW's. I'll definitely be looking into those.

Last question. Where do I go to get the race badge to put my # on?

No they don't use that stuff in real races.

I can't promise that I can make it this week. I've got something going on tomorrow night and have no idea when I'll be able to get on.

well it depends on the race series, cars, etc.

Like F1 used to have TCS IIRC. I'm sure there are some that do, some that don't.

I'll know for sure about 8:30 tomorrow night. If I turn down a date to play Forza, I'm gonna be in big trouble.

LOL. Well we're all in charge of our lives to some extent and then there are some things that are out of our control. Where that line is drawn is up to the individual.

Like a girl that wants to date you that says "It's 10 PM EST on Monday night, or nothing Roggie!" In that case you gotta go get the pu$$

I am not gonna beg anybody to race this year. We're going to move along with the people that end up being regulars and that will be that.

Oh, no worries. I'm planning on being a regular. This won't be a weekly thing. Just the only possible free day both of us have for at least a week (unless she's called into work tonight).

Just a copuple quick notes about tonight's race:

    * Please show up 10-15 minutes early if possible.

    * I will not have a race report or photos up today... I have a deadline tomorrow morning and the work is going slowly so I will be jumping on to play, and jumping off again. Please feel free (in fact please do) post some photos in this thread when we're all done and a description of how your race went, if you have the time etc... I will update with something on Wednesday most likely.

Here is a design I'm currently working on in case I make the race. Even if I do not make the race then I can upload it on the store front and if somebody is using the Mercedes then they are welcome to use it. I figured since this race would be held in October I would make a Breast Cancer Awareness car. It's not completely finished yet but it's a start.
