TTII 1st Off-Season......
What day are we looking at to make it happen?
Most of the bowl games should be played tonight and I assume the NC will be done by friday night.
So friday or sat night? Can anyone not make one of those days? I guess we can do it during the day on saturday too.
I'm good for the next few days. Just let me know.
I'm gone Friday and Saturday night....
Sunday afternoon or evening works the best for me but I am done recruiting for this season anyways so I guess I dont need to do anything till Preseason right?
yeah yeah no rush boys....take er time
Sunday would probably be better.
Monday wouldn't be terrible.
yeah sunday would be best for me. at night that is. or even monday.
if we can do it friday I'm free later that night. but saturday i'm pretty booked up all day/night.
I can't do it Friday night, but pretty much any other time should be fine.
Friday is out for me, I could do Saturday afternoon and also sunday or monday night.
Saturday is doubtful for me..... Sunday night looks better.....
sunday night is best for me....
sunday or monday night is best for me, too.
I work Saturday from 8am to 4pm pst, so it might not work for the day. Sunday night is the best time for me, personally.
sunday night it is.
say 9 p.m. cst?
I'll have a bottle of vodka ready so the profanity will be off the charts if JR undercuts me on a recruit.
Thats fine with me. Hopefully we can all chat at the same time, instead of going into a party.
By the way, recruiting could take significantly longer this time around.
Any chance we can get to week 1 recruiting before Sunday night. That will give everyone a chance to look through some of the new guys and get their week 1 stuff done which could potentially take some time.
Obviously this depends on everyone getting finished before then.
I agree. I would like some time to do the 1st week.
I think recruiting should take significantly less time without the human anchor known as Bruce80, who actually thought using all 10 hours each week, meant spending 10 real hours doing recruiting.
Bruce, Im sorry to say, you will not be missed during the offseason. Though making fun of Bruce for most anything is always good stuff.
Yeah, I think we will likely be done with games on friday night. Which gives everyone some time and gives Mutt and I some time to record all the stats and data we need to keep.
Also, I still think we should keep the No promises rule, just to limit any advantage we might have on the CPU.
Classic TTII offesason moment.... Bruce's son hops on for Bruce and sends out 4 or 5 random promises to different players but doesnt mention this to his father..... the next offseason night, he is gettin hammered in the offseason chat thread........
sidenote: i also think if possible we should get week 1 offseason up as soon as possible.... and this will give the madden guys a chance to get alot of madden time in this weekend.... then it wont be as new when we start season II...
I agree. Please take the time to do your week 1 stuff asap, though. I don't want to meet on sunday and some people still not have it done.
a thought... how many times will i mention that i truly believe Lawdog has a game genie.... my over/under is 7.....
I agree on the on No promises rule. Also, I think we should adjust some speed weight requirements.
I think DE speed should be capped at 85 for any position moves. A 240 DE at 4.42 just doesn't exist. Also, I think we should move the weights down at LB down 5 lbs based on the number of under and maybe cap the speed at 87 or 88? The fastest LB recruit this year I think ran a 4.46 which I think is 88 speed, so that may be a good idea.
Also there are a number of undersized LB recruits this year, so I think our weights will be in line with the recruits, which is what we want to do anyway.
