The winless Colts hit the road this week in Buffalo and put up a good fight for much of the opening half. Andrew Luck and Geoffrey Reyna carried Indy on a solid opening drive into Buffalo territory until Luck tossed his first interception of the game to CB Nickel Robey. A few plays later Drew Hale hit Robert Woods on a corner route and Woods strutted down the sideline for the early touchdown to give Buffalo a 7-0 lead. Midway through the 2nd quarter, Luck found WR Donald McDonald on a simple curl but McDonald was blasted by Robey and the fumble was scooped up LB Nigel Bradham. The Colts stood strong with their backs to the wall and caught a little break when Sammy Watkins dropped a wide open touchdown on the endzone, Buffalo settled for the field goal to lead 10-0. The Colts answered in only two plays when Luck connected on a deep ball down the sideline to WR Sivihina Strong who shook off two wimpy tacklers on his way for the touchdown to trim Buffalo's lead to 10-7. Just like Indy, Buffalo answered the call. In two plays, QB Drew Hale hit Robert Woods for 10 yards and then a screen to Ka'Deem Carey was good for 30 more. The drive ended on a 3rd and 1 goal line run from Carey for the Bills to go up 10 once again, 17-7 with 1:04 before half.

The next sequence of plays couldn't have been any worse for the Colts. Just before half, CB Stephon Gilmore intercepted an Andrew Luck pass and returned it all the way for the touchdown as Buffalo led 24-7 at half. The 3rd quarter didn't start any better for Indianapolis as the Bills put together another solid drive and a simple curl to Sammy Watkins went for a 57 yard touchdown when CB Daniel Lopez fell down and Buffalo was up 31-7. Indianapolis put together a solid drive late in the game that resulted in a Geoffrey Reyna touchdown. The Bills elected to keep things simple with the ground game the rest of the game and ran their way to a 37-14 victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
