Alot was at stake in Louisville Saturday night where both the South Florida Bulls and Louisville Cardinals were trying to turn the season around in hopes for a chance at the BIG East title.

USF got things rolling early with a long drive in the first that ended with a six yard strike from BJ Daniels to Junior wide receiver Sterling Griffin. Turnovers from Cardinals QB Teddy Bridgewater would give the Bulls 2 more field goals in the 2nd quarter but the Cardinals would not lay down scoring just before half on a 5 yard pass to Jeremy Wright at the edge of the endzone.

Momentum appeared to be moving in Louisville's direction as the Bulls offense was completely shut down in the 3rd quarter and they notched another field goal putting the score at 13-10.

Senior QB BJ Daniels rallied the offense to put a drive together to start the 4th quarter that ended in a 4 yard TD run from Lamar Lindsey. Another late turnover from Bridgewater sealed the deal for the Cardinals, and the Bulls moved to 4-3 (2-1) with a 20-10 victory.

    Key Stats:
    BJ Daniels 11-16 175 yds 1TD 17 rush yds
