    U 30 @ VT 20

    Team 1st 2nd 3rd 4th F
    MIA 14 10 3 3 30
    VT 10 0 3 7 20

Miami's rushing attack came to play again today as Smith ran for 111 yards and Martindales for 64. Va Tech elected to kickoff and Miami took it roughly 12 plays for the games first score. The Hokies would answer right back on the ensuing kickoff taking it 100 to tie the game. Hurricanes winds were almost taken out of the atmosphere but Lee led the Canes back down the field and hit Williams on a 26 yard TD pass. VT would get a FG and the score would go into the second 14-10 U.

Miami would score the only points in the second quarter and played stifling defense to take a 24-10 lead into half.

Virginia Tech would open up the 3rd with a FG cutting into the lead but Miami would answer at the end of the quarter to take the 14 point lead into the 4th.

The Hokies would score early in the 4th to cut the lead down to 7 and have 7:22 left to eventually tie it. They would have their chances but Miami D proved to be too strong and able to get 3 points to push the lead to 10 with 1:50 remaining, and seal the deal 30-20.

Yeah it was a good game, I thought that JMS had a couple of unlucky turnovers and that Miami was lucky to not have a couple... Of course JMS had another 2-3 throws that could have been picked so... Man he just throws that shit up there for grabs sometimes or at least it looks like. score slightly closer than it appeared as Miami dove on a sure-fire INT return as the game expired.

Yeah I was slinging it around a bit but there is always a #1 and #2 read. I felt like I had to throw alot b/c he was killing the clock with the runwhile I was trying to catch up. My defense this season is meh at best and I really struggle when this happens (mainly b/c they are young and my Safeties are average. I feel like I am back to the 1st 4 years of the OD.

I also for the first time don't have an obvious weapon I can abuse on offense. Just look at my stats...I think I have 4 rec with +25 receptions.

Where is my Howard, Ellis, Thomas, Burton....or remember the PEAK!!!
