As many of you know, recchem's UCLA Bruins have risen from the Loser's Lounge and currently sits at #2 in the current BCS standings. Coach Recchem stated his team's goal was to win the PAC-10 Title. He believed he had his "best team" ever. However, the downfall of past UCLA teams was their inability to beat the "Elite" teams. Well, in Week 10 the Bruins can basically clinch the conference with a win over an elite program. The Bruins' opponent will be the #3 Oregon Ducks. The Ducks have become the elite program in the PAC-10 winning the conference two or three years in a row. Oregon beat Texas earlier this year, and has Heisman front runner Buck Townsend. With a win the Ducks would clearly be in the driver's seat for a BCS title game appearance.
