Another tip is you DO NOT have to flick the stick to sway. Just move it in a direction. You have more control that way then just flicking it. Especially swaying on the ground to avoid punishment.

I've pulled off 2 just this fight card..not real sure what to say...cimmy gassed himself early in round 1 so getting him to tap wasn't too bad, i also got lucky guessing which way he was moving his meter thing (no homo) then this one i just got same story he gassed himself in the 2nd by trying to escape my ground repeatedly, Siver has weak sub def so matching his meter wasn't too hard either.

so long story short: gas them then try to catch a break on the meter game

i guess i am assuming you know the meter game if not i'll try to break it down for you, 2 meters (1 you, 1 him) it's tough to tell which one your are i'm pretty sure your screen will say P1 for player 1, again not 100% sure, then if you are on offense you have to overlap your meter to his, if on Defense you have to escape him, it's a tricky game, you have to do it until the meter in the middle is full, I normally do not pay attention to it and just follow the game until it disappears

    hope any of this helps

you need your opponent gassed to pull off a sub.

I think it had more to do with having a dominant position. The submission meter bar thing you had was the largest I've seen against a user and i was more gassed against Cimmy and all his sub attempts than in this fight. It was very hard to get away from because of that.
