Curls do not work vs man press, only man off. As you can see by almost getting picked lol

..and man-press continues to be the defensive crutch that most online players still rely on.

imagine if there were really consequences for trying to play this type of defense over-and-over.... say for example, a defensive holding, illegal contact, or interference call?

love the bids U of C....

heard the "complaints" about the read option.... Do you know how to do a scrape exchange? If you are a good user tackler 1 on 1 then the scrape exchange is the best way to slow the RO.

    Scrape Exchange....... http://smartfootball.com/defending-...zone-read-athleticism-and-the-scrape-exchange

Alright, so on a standard Read Option play, the QB holds the ball and reads the DE. The Tackle on that side ignores that end and gets up field after the LBs.
The scrape exchange is a widely used tactic that essentially leaves the QB one on one with a linebacker if it is executed properly.

In NCAA 14 the way to execute this is as follows..... set your gameplan for option to conservative, meaning the DE will always crash after the HB pretty much eliminating his ability to beat you and forcing the QB to try and keep it. So you let the outside guy crash in and you user control the OLB on the HB side (or ILB on that side in a 3-4). Make sure you begin the play inside the DE because you do not want to be the guy with the pitch responsibility if it is a triple option. This user LB should be in either a blitz or zone in most play calls, if he is in a blitz, hot route him to a hook zone (yellow) so that his first step isn't forward (if he goes forward he is likely to get blocked). At the snap you need to quickly read the RO and then move laterally outside into space and upfield. If executed correctly you should have a chance to make a play on the QB for a loss in most cases. If you miss the QB will gouge you. If it is a triple option still crush the QB, remember that you have the CPU defenders 100% focused on the HBs.

There are a few ways you are vulnerable running a scrape exchange. First, if you miss the tackle on the QB, second if you run a scrape exchange and the offense is running a standard run you have taken a LB out of the play and the HB is likely to get 5+ yards against your depleted front. Finally, if it is PA you might be running an important coverage player out of his zone and leave the middle with a gaping hole. If you do a good job of anticipating your opponents playcalls, are good at reading the play quickly, and are good enough on the sticks to make the tackle (that's where I often fail) you can blow up the RO and your opponent won't know what hit them because your presnap look will appear to be vulnerable to the RO (since you wont have the obvious blitzer in space on the HB side).

Test it out and let me know if it helps :)

Yes. I knew this and used it last release. This release I seem to be getting hit before I can get outside though. It's all too frustrating at times.

It's not too terribly hard. I write some bullet points down and go at it. The LoZ top ten I did, that was fucking hard. Took me 4 hours to record 20 minutes of audio.
