The Dynasty Site has FINALLY been updated. It's worth a check.
It took me 1 second on the new site to see what I know will be unquestionably the best addition!!!!!!
It now has a "stay logged in" check box!!!!!!!
No more typing in my damned email and password EVERY time I go there!
I like it.
How are the videos for you guys? On firefox, they're stuttery (maybe a quarter second pause every 2 seconds or so) and I never had that issue with the old site.
My biggest gripe with this is that we aren't all green lighted
This version seems more Chrome-friendly for me.
Pretty cool. Anyone having trouble with the Rankings tab? I'm using firefox and nothing shows when I click it. All the others are fine.
Also, when looking at your team needs in recruiting there is a 'MIN' column. These numbers seem to be a suggestion, because being below the MIN number doesn't necessarily create a need that will result in a walk on if not filled. Their suggestions add up to 68 players. But what it got me wondering was if those numbers have anything to do with the type of recruits that are interested in you. It's just odd of EA to call it a MIN when it really isn't.
I have had rolling internal Server errors when browsing the new site. But it is much nicer.
In firefox I got a blank for rankings and polls.
My favorite is the ability to search recruits while EXCLUDING athletes. Finally!
The thing I'm curious about is the recruiting. Before if you were 1% behind a school that was 20 points on the console. Now they have these numbers that are seemingly way too large. I wonder what the correlation is between the points system on DW and the console. I don't understand why they have to do this shit two different ways.
Additionally, you now have the ability to download recruiting information on a week by week basis, among other things in the download button at the top. It's a pretty cool idea but unfortunately the crap is all over the place. Hopefully EA fixes this.
Still no acceleration information though.... smh!
It still doesn't show JUCOs, does it?
My MIN adds up to 79. I have no idea what that number means.
Something has to be wrong with the recruiting on the site. I was dabbling around and tried some of the recruiting. Apparently I have a x2 this week (fuckin' week too late), and I just hauled in +1542 for one guy. On two pitches alone, I got +374 and +339.
That had BETTER be some new numbering system or something. Using the number system on the console, the highest possible pitch total is 99*2*1.25 = 247.5. If there's some kind of bug where your totals shown above are equal to a 339 point call on the console (again, not possible) I'm gonna be pissed since I recruit on the console.
It's gotta be some new numbering system that no one understands (way to go EA!) since on the console you're leading FSU by 1 point (191 is shown above) and Wisconsin by 900 (2681 shown above). You lead me by 1060 on the console (3068 shown above). I'm not sure what kind of numbering system they're using as they aren't exact ratios (2681/900 = 2.98 but 3068/1060 = 2.89). As a (probably good) guess, the DW is showing absolute totals while the console shows the absolute numbers divided by roughly 3 and then rounded to the nearest 20.
Of course, this doesn't make sense with your call because 1542/3 = 514 which is a HORRIBLE X2 call so that can't be right.
Maybe some of these changes will make more sense once they start releasing info about NCAA 13? IE They are changing recruiting next year.
saw for the first time a little bit ago not bad.
I like how it updates the importance when you sway a recruit. Nice instant gratification.
Anyone else try this on a mobile device?
I can't use the new site on my iPhone, the thing just keeps spazzing out so I can't even type to sign in
It's phenomenal on the iPad
I haven't done recruiting or anything, but I've had no issues browsing it on my iPod (same OS as your iPhone).
