The Red Raiders were able to have a shot at taking down USC but were unable to seal the deal even with a lead late. USC knew they were in a fight early when after just five carries, Justin Peoples went down with an injury for the game. SR Walter Ross filled in and did an admirable job, rushing for 82 yards on 20 carries with a pair of scores.

The high flying Tech offense was tough to stop most of the game, as USC was a bit shellshocked by the pace the Red Raiders ran their offense at. When your FS is your leading tackler that day, you know you got lit up.

John Bennett threw for 308 yards and and two touchdowns. Eight receivers caught passes. Eric Barron was the go to guy in the passing game, snagging 7 for 99 and a touchdown.

USC goes to 11-2, and has much momentum going into the off season.
