    USF @ GT

Grothe and the Bulls open up the season @ Georgia Tech in style under new head coach "Coach Max". Coach Max has brought the fleXbox One to South Florida, and opening the season against Georgia Tech couldnt have been a better test for his young squad. The USF defense was completely prepared for the fleXbox One attack after seeing all off-season and basically shut down the Yellow Jacket's offense. Matt Grothe's first pass of the season was an INT, but he came back and broke off some huge gainers and completed some clutch passes that not only got him his confidence back, but also completely swung the momentum in favor for the Bulls. The Bulls wouldnt look back.

    Final score:
    USF- 55
    GT- 17

    Grothe
    13/19 246yd 2TD 1INT 68%
    11ATT 121yd 2TD
    Plancher
    12ATT 71yd 1TD
    Ford
    7ATT 34yd 1TD
    Mitchell
    3REC 36yd 2TD

USF looks forward to playing at home, but they are definitely looking past FAU at their matchup @ #8 Penn St.

    USF vs. FAU

It was total domination from the start. The Owls had no answer for the Bulls' run game, and USF exploited that fact. Grothe only threw the ball 9 times. The backs were working as a unit, with Ford carrying the load, Plancher to offer a change of pace and hands out of the backfield, and Taylor broke all the big ones. Of course, Grothe was on point carrying the ball also. Also of note, (RS)Senior Jerome Murphy returned a kickoff 85yds for a TD. USF's starters were out early and should be well rested for their big match up against Penn State.

    Final Score:
    USF- 59
    FAU- 24

    USF @ Penn St

In the matchup that pitted #20 @ #16, USF beat Penn St 47-33 in a weird one. USF lost the T.O.P. battle running the fleXbox One... Both our QBs were picked off once. The Bulls were 4-7 on 3rd down compared to PSU's 5-16. USF was out-gained by 100yds... 472 to 372. D. Clark went 36/49 377yd and 3TDs against the Bulls. What saved USF were (2) KR for TDs. (Something has to be done about the sliders in that department, because the CPU gets blown up badly on kick returns). Without those 2 TDs though, this game could have been totally different. USF and Coach Max happily head home to play Baylor in Tampa next week. At a press conference, when asked about his team's performance in Happy Valley, Coach Max had this to say "Well, we won. That is a good thing. We didnt do too many other good things today besides win. We're going to have to play our [rear ends] off from here on out if we want to get where we want to be".

USF works Griffin and Baylor to the tune of 52 points. USF was working the clock early and this on was a total team win. Bogan returned another Kickoff for a TD. The Bulls compiled 360yd rushing on 32 carries as a team. Baylor had no chance.

    Final Score
