This link is a pretty sweet compilation of fans celebrating USMNT goals in game 1. https://www.fanduel.com/insider/201...s-celebrations-after-team-usas-world-cup-win/ I'm a tiny spec in the Ozil kit under the white tent in Charlotte. Really a great time.
Before the game, I'd take that point without a question. Any point of first half I'd take that point and run away with it. But now it feels very sour. How did we sound by the way? It's hard to tell if it's loud or not in general.

Yeah, I saw that earlier today. I'm pretty sure that was pre-Jameson too MoonBBad how was the Chicago party?
I couldn't hear any of the sound at the bar, so I don't have a good answer. I'd ask how it is down there, but I don't think it needs to be asked Were you one of the people stranded in Manaus overnight?
Haha. I was actually a little upset with our section (upper level of USA pma). It was like 4 of us in the front trying to fire up people but far side wouldn't even stand up. At some point buncha security piled up infront of us politely asking us to sit down cos people in the back couldn't see, which is fking bs, it's the fking world cup. It was hard to sync with downstairs at times. And AO was a little disappointing. I feel like we didn't shut up all game long at Ghana in the lower level, and yet last night there were a lot of long quiet moments where they seemed to be focused on the game cos we were down. But that's actually when the team needs us to get them pumped up. I know it's hard but they need to learn. Based on what I heard from a conversation behind me, AO group was told that the charter flight they have was gonna take off right after the game, so people rushed to the airport. We got there past midnight after checking some post game crazy party and I saw a whole bunch of people laying on the floor taking naps. Apparently when they got there they were told their flight wasn't till 6am. We got into Manaus at noonish and left 3am. Took a short nap on the (2$ walmart) rafts we brought here. It was the weirdest flight, we had to stop 4 times, Natal was the 5th stop. It was almost like a flying train. Buncha people got off and on, and it was going on after we got off. It was an 8 hour flight back.
When you don't own a USMNT shirt and there's 2 important sporting events going on at the same time, you watch one in person and rep the other through your clothes.
