Coach Max and the Utes are building some serious momentum at this point in the season. Utah is currently 8-0 and ranked in the top 5 nationally. They have already almost assuredly clinched a spot in the PAC12 CCG, and are also doing well on the recruiting trail. Add to that a dominating performance on the road at Georgia, in the rain, and the Utah Bandwagon has started getting cramped.

UGA would draw first blood with a FG in the 1st quarter. That would be their only score of the day. It was quickly 21-3, but Georgia put together a drive and was threatening to score a TD just before halftime. In the dying seconds of the first half, UGA QB C. Davis threw his first of two interceptions trying to force a ball into the endzone. Clutch defensive stops like that energized the entire team and sucked the life out of the Georgia crowd.

Coach Max was able to score on sustained drives and hit on some explosive plays for TDs as well. (RS)Junior QB Morvin Robbins had an extremely efficient day despite playing in heavy rain. (RS)Senior RB, and Heisman front-runner William Fox has a productive game as well, racking up 127 total yards and 2TD (1REC 1RUSH) on just 19 touches.

The Utes get a much needed BYE next week before hosting the USF Bulls. That one could end up a trap game with a contest @ #2 Stanford looming the following Saturday. GG makinpropel
