Son of a bitch, I deleted all the Forza 3 profile files off my hard drive when I traded it in.

    HAHA that blows Bond

Seriously this kicks ass, you have no idea how much time I spent either making, begging for, or stealing logos

I'm terrible too. I was ok until my car got up to a B class or so, then it went down hill from there. I was also trying to play with manual shifting and no assists which was probably a mistake :D

Forza is the only game that I'm really, really good at. :D

It definitely has to do with the practice, but I could "practice" at COD or NCAA or any other game for the next year and not be a top 50 to top 250 player which is the range I think I was at Forza.

You race against Helli, Del, JMS and the rest of those guys for a while and you get better pretty quick. Don't get me wrong I still suck, but I suck way less than when I started with those guys.

So, will you get pissed when I come into a tight turn way too fast and rear end you?

Yeah he will, but not as pissed as Ryno will get if you do that to him. :)

It's very nerve-racking going into corners while those guys are around you.

Yeah what Bond said. I am good because of Hellisan, Del, Casino and others. The competition and the help those guys provided made us all better.

We also did sink alot of time into it. Hotlapping to prepare for races.....damn I remember that. One thing I will never forget is most of those tracks. I can race Road America on any game now. I know these tracks like the back of my hand now.

It's funny because I get way less pissed at that game, than at NCAA. I really don't think I get too pissed..... but maybe my memory is lacking. Bondzai and I have had a lot of scrapes and I never get mad (it hasn't always been his fault BTW)... He probably thinks I do, but I don't. Frustration that I didn't do better getting by or something maybe, but never anger at the other guy... (RARELY anger at the other guy?) lol

it is generally very friendly with a lot of goodwill. Bondzai took both Del and I out one time by trying to take a turn that wasn't there on a straightaway, and we both just laughed our asses off about it, nobody gets pissed.

You don't show up that often bro :D

Ok strike that... MOST OF THE TIME nobody gets pissed.

I still remember my first race with those guys....I had just gotten the game and they needed a fill-in for the V8 Supercar Series. Ryno says "just hang back and stay out of the way". :)

    Good shit here:

    http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/FM4_Unveiled_E3_2011/

They recently opened their website and that video that was leaked awhile ago has now gotten all the permissions etc... The BIG NEWS

    * The return of user-hosted public lobbies. Everybody hated the fact that everything had to be in a hopper last year. Well this year that is gone. SWEET!

    * Car Clubs. We can all be in a club if we want, and share cars. This will be great if we want to do a race where everybody has an identical car, or use the identical car for a hotlap challenge.

I'm actually supposed to meet a guy to buy a Microsoft Wireless wheel for $40.

I really don't recommend them. There is a slight lag that accompanies the wheel (at least whenever I've used it) and it is a huuuuuge learning curve. IMHO very difficult to compete with a wheel.

I really don't get the need for people to use a wheel while playing this game. If they're not mowing people down with the help of a gun controller in COD, or throwing a football controller in NCAA, why do people seem so fascinated with needing a steering wheel setup to play this one? Especially if it's not all that effective.

I picked up one of those without the force feedback cord for like $5 last year. I only wish I could find a cord for it but I think it makes it more fun but that's just me.

My problem isn't really the lateral control, but I can't roll into the gas and brakes with the controller...I realize the triggers are analog...but they are digital in my hands. It sucks braking, because I slide a ton.
