    Video Highlights question

I have agreed to attempt to make a weekly highlight reel for my league. I am planning to take video from a number of user games, and combine it into one highlight reel. I've seen this done before, but I haven't tried it myself. Before I waste too much time trying to figure this out, I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

    I use Windows Media Player.

First I download the highlights from EA Sports page and then I convert them from .flv to windows format.

free program to download to convert them and easy to use.

I use Windows Movie Maker. I use a free program as well. If you google or youtube how to make youtube videos play in Windows Movie Maker/Player or something to that effect the programs should pop up.

Do you have a suggestion on a conversion program? I have tried two with minimal success. I'll try the YouTube route as well.

AVS Video Converter 6 is what I have, but you have to purchase if you don't want a tiny message on the screen.

I have a Real Player add-on that works with Firefox to rip streaming video clips. It allows me to save files as Real Media files which can then be edited in Windows Movie Maker.

Harris, what programs did you decide to go with? I have a program (at work at the moment) that lets you rip songs from youtube videos as well. When I get home I'll edit this post with the program.

Pazera was the file converter, then I used Windows Movie Maker to put together the highlights. Worked out well.
