Quarterback Change In MinnesotaAlex Smith gets the start. The Vikings started the year off 2-0 with big wins over their rival Green Bay Packers and NFC North foe Detroit Lions. However, a slump to the season had us sitting at 2-4 with the Green Bay Packers back in town for a rematch. We decided to sit Christian Ponder and start Alex Smith who we picked up a couple of years ago. While he might not be very good rating wise, his ability to get the ball where it needs to be has proven to be the answer for now. A huge 347 yard passing performance with 3 touchdowns and the key 0 interceptions has us feeling good about our chances at making a comeback in the cluttered NFC wildcard race. Stay tuned to see how he pans out. We have put Ponder on the trade block in hopes of landing a deal for the offseason.
