It was a tough day for the Terps offense on Saturday. Maryland's offense really never got going and on the few occasions that it did move into the Virginia side of the field a turnover seemed to follow. The Cavs Defense held the Terps to 113 total offense and caused 5 ints. The Cavs secondary seemed to be everywhere as the Maryland QB went 8-27 for 103 yards. As for Virginia the ground game was key to the win, totaling 310 yards on the ground including a 73 yard scamper from back up RB Kevin Parks, who ended the game with 112 yards on 9 carries and td. Perry Jones chipped in another solid day with 93 yards on 21 carries and a td.
