Hokie defense was the star. Bend but dont break, holding the wreck to 4 field goals. Ryan Williams led the way with 2 td's and about 140 total yards.

Big Hokie win here, never as close as the score. HB Ryan Williams dominated, scoring 5 TD's and racking up 199 yards. Tyrod Taylor was almost perfect thru the air (9/10 about 145 yards 0 int) and the defense forced 2 turnovers. Big win in a game VT was supposed to win.

Hokies win in a laugher, RB Ryan Williams led the way with 150 yards and 3 scores. Hokies only passed the ball 10 times, all in the first half. Hokies defense was awesome, holding FCS under 100 yards total offense and never letting them cross the 50. Third string freshmen RB M. Davis finished the game out, gaining 140 yards and a td.

Slow start for the Hokies as the Wolfpack jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter. State connected on a 70 yard TD pass, catching the Hokies in a blitz with no deep safety. Ryan Williams, however, could not be denied. He racked up 200 yards on the ground and 3 td's. Tyrod Taylor was very efficient thru the air, passing for 195 yards and 1 td. The Hokies look forward to next week's matchup with UNC, a battle for ACC control.

A extremely good game, by both teams. Almost identical stats at the end, the difference was turnovers. The Hokies defense forced 4 interceptions, including a 61 yard interception returned for a td by LB Barquell Rivers. That td put the Hokies up 21-20 in the third quarter. Each team kicked a field goal in the fourth and Va Tech had one more pick with about a minute left to seal the deal. HB Ryan Williams led the Hokies on offense with 104 yards rushing and 1 score. QB Tyrod Taylor was under heavy pressure all day, getting sacked 6 times and the Tar Heels forced 2 interceptions, but Taylor was still efficient, completing 67% of his passes for 185 yards and 1 touchdown. Great game bravejaf.

The Hokies started slow, a little hangover from last week's huge win. They entered the second half tied at 14, but then their defense took over the game. The Hokies' unrelenting pressure defense forced three interceptions, 2 of which were returned for touchdowns. HB Ryan Williams led the offense with over 200 yards rushing and 4 touchdowns.

You ever have those games were everything goes the other teams way? The Hokies escaped with a win, but HB Ryan Williams is lost for next week's big match-up with Miami. The Hokies committed 11 penalties in this game and turned the ball over once, but still came away with the victory. Back-up HB J. Oglesby came in off the bench and ran for 144 yards and 3 scores. Williams came into the game as the leading Heisman candidate, so it will be interesting to see the impact this injury has on his chances.

The Hokies improved to 10-0. HB Josh Oglesby was huge, filling in for the injured Ryan Williams. Oglesby had over 100 yards on the ground and 2 scores. The Hokie defense did a good job of containing the highpowered Hurricane offense. The Hokies had 2 big goaline stands in the first half, one of which resulted in a field goal and the other in a missed field goal. The Hokies are hoping this win will move them back up in the BCS, as they actually lost a spot this week.

If things shape up right it could come down to a rematch between our teams for National Championship. My win over Clemson should bump me up to 4 since Rutgers lost as well. Only team that will probably stand in the way is Ohio State, they don't play any games against user teams and are currently undefeated. A loss against Purdue and Michigan seems unlikely. I forget who the other team above me is, but I think it is a CPU team that plays a human opponent in one of its final games.

The Hokies escape the Commonwealth Cup with a victory over the Cavaliers. A late interception preserved the win. The Hokies are now looking forward to the ACC championship game, probably against the Clemson Tigers. Ryan Williams again led the way with over 100 yards rushing and a score.

The Hokies were able to hold the Tigers off in this game. Clemson fell behind, 20-7 early, but managed to mount a second half comeback. The Hokies defense was able to get a lot of pressure on the Willy Korn in the first half. The Hokies were led by Heisman hopefull, HB Ryan Williams, who had over 250 yards of total offense and 2 touchdowns. Va Tech is expecting a bid in the BCS title game.

The Hokies jumped out to a 20-9 first half lead, led by the play of senior QB Tyrod Taylor. Taylor had been the forgotten man all season, but in his last game as a Hokie he took the game over. Taylor was nearly perfect thru the air, completing 11 of 14 for 163 and accounting for 3 total touchdowns. HB Ryan Williams ran for had 155 total yards and 2 total td's as well. The Hokie defense did a great job of shutting down Terrel Pryor, forcing him to throw 2 picks and sacking him twice. Pryor also lost 15 yards rushing. Pryor did rack up some yardage at the end of the game, when the Hokies were running the vanilla prevent defense.
