The Tennessee Volunteers traveled to Athens Saturday with a lot of momentum on their side. After defeating their heated rival the Florida Gators the week before. The game started off with both teams trying to figure each other out. With both teams having really no luck in moving the ball down the field.

Tennessee finally gets on the board after a barrage of runs from all everything RB David Fountain. Tennessee continued to play well throughout the first half until the end of the second quarter. Just like in the Florida game Tennessee began to make silly mistakes and gave UGA every chance to capitalize on them. Georgia added 3 to board to make it a 7-3 game at halftime.

After there starting tailback went down back up Eugene Williams came in and seemed unstoppable providing 2 tds on the ground and countless first downs.

But once again UT rb David Fountain found the endzone from 8 yds out to take a 14-10 lead.

After Williams second td and with all the momentum going Georgia's way. Star wideout Seth Willis came up huge and returned the next kickoff 97 yards to give Tennessee a 20-17 lead.

This sealed the victory for the big orange and helped them take a two game lead in the east. Georgia played a good game and gave us all we could handle, coach ctvolfan said after the game. He continues to praise his teams work ethic and determination as they have played in four straight difficult games to start the season.

Player of the Game: David Fountain 24 att 134 yds 2 tds
