Wow, what a game!Michigan Rallies to beat Illinois, 28-24
The Wolverines pulled off a huge victory today versus the Fighting Illini. The game was a thriller back and forth, and after QB Denard Robinson went out with back spasms. But HB Stephen Hopkins would play huge through out the game, scoring all 4 touchdowns for the Wolverines. Including the game winning run with less then 1:00 remaining. Hopkins had 27 carries for 135 yards and 4 scores on the day. Defensively, Michigan seemed off balance until the last few minutes of the game. Up next is a huge battle within the division vs the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Gophers Steal One in MadisonMinnesota sneaks past Wisconsin 21-19.
Somehow, someway, the Minnesota Golden Gophers made it rain in Madison today. That's right, they brought the Golden Showers down hard. Sure, 1-8 on the year is pitiful but beating your arch rival in their house can quickly turn around and salvage your season. Apparently, that is just what has happened in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota as fans have went nuts.
Wisconsin looked to have it in the bag with a quick 10-0 lead. The beer kept on flowing for Coach controllerabuser as he downed one after the other making himself more and more comfortable. Donnell Kirkwood would score the first Gopher points of the day on a 1 yard run. Wisconsin would come back to make it 13-7. Kirkwood would again punch it in to give the Gophers the lead this time, 14-13. Deep in the 4th quarter, in their own territory ryty32 would get flustered and force a throw which was returned for 6 by the defense. Pictured above, Kyle Henderson would make the game 21-13 with a 28 yard return. Wisconsin would drive and score but they weren't able to convert the 2 point conversion.
Great Game Ryan! I get to talk all the smack until you attempt to take away the AXE next year!!!!!!!!!!!
Good Shit man
