I came into the 4th offseason with mix emotions. We did improve from season 1 to season 3. But to see my team slide in the sim season to the number one pick have me thinking my team is too young across the board. I thought they would have performed much better. Now the plus is I have first choice of all the talent. The minus is I don't think my biggest needs can be filled with an impact player. The Redskins needs this offseason are backup LG, starting C, sign a RG - starter or backup, starting RE, starting DT, sign a starting or backup at ROLB, sign backup CB, and sign a Punter. Luxury picks would be FS, WR and TE.

I started my scouting with 40,000 points scouting on the defensive side. Even though I probably should get the offensive lineman first, its hard for me to draft a lineman with the #1 overall pick so I doubt I'll go that route with my first pick. My plan is not to scout Player Type or Development to enable myself to scout as much as possible. I scouted the RE position which only have 7 players. Four of the players don't fit my 4-3 scheme and they don't possess any traits I feel I need to have so they're off my board. That leaves Narcisse, Grable and Daren. I'm a little underwhelmed with these 3. OK talent but not the type I'll take #1 so that mean I may have to go to my backup plan of moving Orakpo to RE and look to find a ROLB. That plan would be cancelled if I sign FA DE Dumervil.

I move to the DT position. Plenty of talent here that fits my 4-3. 11 DTs that runs a form of the 4-3. Only 3 that runs my exact scheme of an attacking 4-3. Pederson, Turay and Reve. Pederson is clearly the best of this group and he could be a #1 pick but I don't think DT have much impact so I'll have to compare him against my other needs and see how it grades out.

Next position, ROLB. I'm scouting this position just in case I have to move Orakpo to DE. Only 8 of them in the draft, 3 that runs my scheme. Allen and Black. Allen grades out higher and seem to be a good pick but have to scout farther.

I move to offense and the line and start scouting Centers. Its only 5 of them in the draft and only none that fits my scheme. Matam has a few A grades that makes him attractive but not enough for me to take #1 overall. Would draft him if he's available in following rounds.

Now RGs. Only 4 of them none that fits my scheme so I doubt I draft one as my current RG is suitable as a starter.

Only 5 LGs available. One that fits my scheme. Probably only draft here if all other needs are filled.

There's plenty CBs!! 25 in all. 4 runs my scheme. Davis, Lisi, Hall and Motes. Hall appeals to me the most but this isn't a need for me! Whomever I get at this position will more than likely be the 5th corner as I'm happy with my top 4.

Looking to add another TE. Don't need to upgrade my starter but would love to upgrade my backup. 14 TEs available. 5 that fits my scheme. Preston, Virgin, Alstad, Bergsten and Mitchell.

That's where I am now with a little over 2000 scouting points left!! Right now I'm leaning defense with the first pick but I still want to scout a few WRs.
