    2010 - 2011 SEASON HQ
    Record: 0 - 1 Streak:
    Power Ranking: 28
    Overall Team Rating: 70
    Chemistry: 43%

    Starting Five:
    • PG: Wall
    • SG: Young
    • SF: Kirilenko
    • PF: Blatche
    • C: McGee
    Key Reserves:
    • Jo. Howard
    • Jo. Crawford

Season Outlook: Going into season we know there is an uphill climb the size of Everest ahead of us. With the exception of Wall there are no untouchable players on this roster that is at the bottom of the conference and league in terms of talent. A lottery is most likely in our future this season as we try to build upon the skills and hype of Wall.

Anticipated Moves?: At 20.5 million Rahard Lewis' contract is a big burden especially considering there are three more years left on it, so moving him would help but it has to be the right deal. Andray Blatche needs to continue to develop and show his close to $6 million salary is commensurate to his skill and production. A scorer is likely going to need to be added unless someone on the roster steps up to give Wall some help.

    Team Transactions

I'll be following! What quarter length/season length are you playing? I'm playing 12 minute quarters and a 82 game season (simming all reg. season home games). Glad you didn't rape the roster before you started. I've made two trades in mine and the CPU offered both of them.

    Good Luck!

    Game One @ Orlando

The wizards open the 2010 regular season on the road against the Orlando Magic and their high scoring lineup led by Dwight Howard. Rookie John Wall look good in his NBA debut scoring 21 points and recording 6 assists as the Wizards forced the host Magic to play well into the fourth quarter but come up short losing 81 - 91. Newly aqcuired Adrei Kirilenko added 13 points and 7 borads to go with 3 blocks as the Wiz had some life defensively. So for one game the trade of Rashard Lewis for Kirilenko has benefitted Washington. For Orlando, Howard scored 20 pts and grabbed 14 boards while adding 2 blocks. Other key performances:
    • WAS: Young 11 pts 2 reb 3 stl
    • WAS: Blatche 6 pts 10 reb
    • ORL: Gilbert Arenas 19 pts 12 ast 7 stl
