Watkins' 3 TD day led Buffalo to a 28-10 victory over Miami

Two owners that came into the league together, faced off for the first time in Week 7. The game started off great for Miami as the defense made a stop and the offense busted off a big play on their first offensive possession. However, Miami was unable to snag any points on the possession after a missed field goal. Buffalo struck quick on the next possession after a huge pass play to Javian Jamison, who a few plays later hauled in a 3rd & 1 play action touchdown from the Miami 10 yard line to give Buffalo an early 7-0 lead. Miami answered though, Miami's next possession milked off 7 minutes and consisted of three 4th down conversions. Marshawn Lynch bounced in the 1 yard touchdown run to knot things up at 7. Just like the previous drive, Buffalo struck quick, QB Drew Hale hit Sammy Watkins on a corner strike route and Watkins was off to the races to give Buffalo a 14-7 lead with the 80 yard touchdown. Miami consumed the rest of the opening half with another successful drive that ended in a field goal just before halftime to trail Buffalo 14-10 at the break.

As good as Miami played the entire game, the 2nd half got away from them and the score looked worse than the actual on field product. Watkins hauled in two more touchdowns in the 2nd half. The 3rd quarter was all Buffalo as RB Ka'Deem Carey toted the rock time and time again and totaled up over 100 yards in the game and kept Miami's defense worn down. As Miami trailed 28-10 halfway through the 4th quarter, Dolphin WR Gerry Walter was blasted by Kiki Alonso, Walter fumbled and Buffalo jumped on it for the final killshot. Carey and the Bills ran out the clock on their way to the 28-10 divisional victory.
