Let's do this. I won't advance right away. Most of you start out with a JQwon so take this free time to get to know your team and post your playbook/scholarships available in this thread.

Is this a shitty black QB with no arm, a douchebag coach or just a crappy team?

I'm running the TTU playbook and the Multiple defense.

I have a really shitty team but I'm all about putting the ball in the air, so that's what I'm gonna do.

Utah State "upsets" rival Utah for 3rd straight season; 45-34

Utah State opened the 2013 season coming off an 11 win season. The Aggies tried to carry their momentum into the new season, but had a slow start vs the Utah Utes. The Utes took the game's opening drive for a quick touchdown. After a USU three and out, the Utes were on the board again for a quick 14-0 lead. The Aggies would finally get on the board with a field goal to close the quarter; 14-3

The Aggies would finally get the offense in motion, capping off two touchdown drives by Johanson runs from inside the 10. Utah's starting QB was knocked out of the game, slowing down the Ute's high powered spread offense. The UTes still managed to score 10 points in the second quarter, going to half with a 24-17 lead. The Utes went 8-9 on 3rd down conversions in the fist half compared to the Aggie's 0-4

Utah State grabbed their first lead of the game at the end of the 3rd quarter, as Brewster and Anderson connected for 2 25+ yard TDs in the 3rd to take a 31-27 lead going into the 4th. With momentum on their side the Aggies ended a long Utah drive with an interception, but safety Willie Harris fumbled on the return inside the 10, giving the ball back to the Utes in prime field position. One play later Utah was back on top 34-31. With 3 minutes to go and 2 timeouts remaining, the Aggies went for a 4th and inches at the Utah 45, but were stuffed. The Aggies had to force a field goal to stay alive, and thats just what they did. Luckily for Utah State, the field goal went wide right, giving them a chance with under 2 minutes to force OT or go for the win. With 40 seconds left, at the Utah 25 the Aggies decided to take a shot to the end zone and not settle for a FG, and QB Brewster hit Sophomore Joseph Jones in the endzone over a Ute defender, to take the 35-31 lead. As the Ute offense prepared to make a comeback drive in the last 30 seconds, the kickoff was fumbled and the Aggies recovered, returning it to the one yard line, where junior college transfer HB Freeman would punch in the game sealing touchdown. 45-34

QB Dennis Brewster picked up right where he left off last season, throwing 18-35 for 350 yards and 3 TDs. Senior WR Keegan Anderson had 104 yards and two TDs, and sophomore WR Joseph Jones had 5 catches for 105 yards and the game-winning TD.

Freshman impact: A Utah State program that saw 9 freshmen starting last season had few holes to fill from last year's roster, but two freshmen made instant impacts on the field. Ball hawk safety Craig had two interceptions in his first collegiate performance. The freshman was only used in passing situations, but may get increased playing time after a big performance. Freshman WR Smith also caught 2 passes for 30 yards, one of which being a spectacular one handed catch on third down to keep the game winning drive going.

Utah State gets two back-to-back bye weeks (aka "Jqwons") before heading into conference play vs Western Kentucky.

Robert Bolden & Silas Redd were able to showcase their talents in their debut in Kalamazoo. With the newly installed offense both players showed why they were such heralded recruits. Bolden threw a pick on the first offensive play as he was clearly nervous in front of the Bronco faithful. After the early mistake he settled down going 10/15 for 162 yards and 2 scores. What was more impressive was the ground attack as he carried the ball 18 times for 138 yard and a 58 yard TD run while Silas Redd ran 22 times for 118 yards and a score. Heisman candidate Tevin Drake saw limited playing time with only 10 carries for 51 yards.
Central Michigan's only score came on a muffed punt by Silas Redd that they scooped and scored in the 3rd quarter from 35 yards out. They shanked the XP in what was one of the worst attempts I've ever seen. Jon Newsome the transfer from Ohio State made his debut as well recording 5 tackles and a first quarter 30 YD pick six to put the Broncos ahead 14-0. TOP was dominated by the Broncos as they kept it out on the ground accumulating 23:35 minutes of possession to Central Michigan's 8:25.
We should hopefully move back into the Top 25 at this performance and head to Tampa next week to claim what should have been a BCS NC last season @ #19 USF.
