Nate Washing scores one of the many that Titans scored in the blowout win
    to open the OMFL season.

The Tennessee Titans hosted the Cleveland Browns in Nashville this weekend to open the 5th season of the OMFL. The Browns were looking for an identity under new head coach Greeeeg and the titans looked to greatly improve after spending 50 million in the offseason to improve the 32th ranked defense last season.
The game kicked off with the Browns reiceving the ball but could do nothing with it and were forced to punt after a 3 and out. The Titans werent looking to force anything and with short passes and timely CJ runs, were able to score on their first possession with a 1yard TD run by CJ. Both teams were looking to get their feet underneath them in this new season and neither team scored the rest of the quarter.
The Browns had the ball to open the second quarter and Coach Greeg seemed to try to get Harrison more invovled in the game. Harrison had a couple 5+ yard runs before busting the big one, 49 yards, to tie the game at 7. Titans were getting a little worried about there rush defense until the third play of the next series. Young sold out on a screen and got drilled but lofted the ball far enough for CJ to get under the ball with 4 blockers vs 1 defender on the screen. 57 yards later the titans were back up 7 but not for long. On the next possession, FS Griffen picked off a Mccoys pass and took it back for a touchdown to extend the lead to 21-7. The next drive for the browns looked good and culminated with a FB vickers 2 yard TD run to bring the score back 21-14 but that would be as close it would be the rest of the game. CJ added his third TD late in the quarter with a 2yard run as the first half ended with a score of 28-14.
The Browns ran out of luck in the second half and it started to turn bad quick. On the opening kickoff, Hawkins got the ball at the 3 yard line and one juke and 90 yards later the titans where up 21 points. Titans shifted to a ground and pound offense after that but VY found washington on a drag and he easily scored from 13yards out to end scoring in the third with a score 42-14.
With VY, CJ and the LB core sitting for the rest of the game, the Titans would add 16 more points in the 4th quarter with Tds from Cook Jr and Lex Hilliard, and added a safety on a busted play to win the game big with a final score of 58-14.
The titans move to 1-0 and will get tested BIG TIME next week visiting the high power 1-0 Saints. The browns fall to 0-1 and next week doesnt get any easier as the browns visit the 0-1 and still tough steelers team.
