    Week 1: Raiders (23) Seahawks(31)

The Seahawks open up the season with a close win over the Raiders.

The game started off looking like it would be a shootout as both teams scored on their first two possessions on long passing plays. Things started to slow down though as there was only one touchdown in the second half with the score knotted up at 21-21 going into the half.

The key points of the game today was Kurt Warner attacking Jye Martin the recently drafted Free safety rookie throughout the game. All of Warner's interceptions were on broken coverage by the rookie on deep routes. In the end though Martin made the game winning interception as Warner was driving the Raiders down the field. On the other side of the ball the Raiders were having a real hard time holding onto the ball as they fumbled three times without being touched as they dove to gain extra yards.

In the end the Raiders just couldn't get their ground game going as Warner passed for 380 yards. While the Seahawks ground it out on the ground with Clinton Portis as he went over the century mark in the first game of the season.

GG Joseph GL the rest of the season.
