I'm guessing they decided offering "enlistment bonuses" to all of those recruits was ethical.

Yeah, looks like you'll have plenty of time to squeeze in a few minutes for Kent State's ESPNU #89 DE.

I'd say Idaho's 4 star QB should be of greater concern...

Yeah, good job guys. I haven't looked at all the other dynasties, but we seem to be pretty far ahead of a lot of the ones I have looked at. My game this week is against Air Force so I'll be ready to go again tonight.

    Kent State 10

The East plays defense as neither offense did anything. The only second half scoring was my 32 yard TD pass to Ansel Ponder to take the lead. Kent State drove down and on 4th and goal Spencer Keith was sacked ending hopes of any comeback.

    Idaho 38
    Air Force 31

In the first half, neither team could get a stop and Idaho played catchup the entire time. The halftime score was 24-24. In the second half, Idaho was able to shut down the Air Force attack and led 38-24 before a late Air Force touchdown pulled them to within 7. After failing to get the onside kick, Idaho was able to grind out a first down and kneel the clock out. Fun game. My defense is terrible, but I think I found some stuff out in the 2nd half. We'll see. It was nice to finally win a cpu game. I'm now 1-3 against the cpu this season.

    WKU-42
    Army-35

For the second straight week, WKU was able to outscore their opponent for a victory. The Hilltopper defense couldn't do much against Steelman's Black Knight squad except for an opportunistic interception in the early 4th quarter as Army was trying to tie.

JQwon once again used his feet-only throwing 8 passes completing 6. He ran for 68 yards and 2 TDs while Co$hik gained 265 yards and 2 TDs on 21 carries. There were also scores from the 2nd and 3rd string backs.

    First Quarter
04:55 TD Army Geoffery Bacon WR #82 24 yard pass from Trent Steelman QB #8
00:07 TD Western Kentucky Keshawn Simpson HB #34 20 yard rush
    Second Quarter
00:08 TD Western Kentucky William Simmons HB #25 6 yard rush
    Third Quarter
05:29 TD Army Waverly Washington WR #86 18 yard pass from Trent Steelman QB #8
03:09 TD Western Kentucky Kawaun Jakes QB #6 2 yard rush
    Forth Quarter
07:21 TD Western Kentucky CoShik Williams HB #39 75 yard rush
05:40 TD Army Jamar Wells WR #88 4 yard pass from Trent Steelman QB #8
04:04 TD Western Kentucky CoShik Williams HB #39 66 yard rush
03:51 TD Army Dylan Mohamed CB #17 101 yard kick return TD
02:16 TD Western Kentucky Kawaun Jakes QB #6 66 yard rush
00:52 TD Army Jason Merritt WR #89 2 yard pass from Trent Steelman QB #8

Arkansas State survives with last minute defensive stand

Dontae Aycock had another good outing for Arkansas State, and Andre Smith was effective once again at quarterback to lead the Red Wolves over Eastern Michigan, 34-28.

After an uneventful first quarter that saw Arkansas State miss a field goal on their opening drive, Eastern Michigan got on the board first with a 13 yard pass from QB Alex Gillett to WR Kinsman Thomas. The second quarter saw an offensive explosion from these two teams, however, and Arkansas State started it off with a touchdown pass from Smith to Aerion Williams to tie the game up. Eastern Michigan would score quickly on a 56 yard rush by HB Joe Waters, his first of two touchdowns. Arkansas State would score on consecutive possessions with rushes from TE Kedric Murray and FB Matt Collier. The Eagles continued to score on huge plays with a 57 yard touchdown pass that ended the scoring in the half, thanks to another missed field goal by Arkansas State as time expired.

In the third quarter, both teams had trouble moving the ball and neither team scored, sending it into the 4th at 21-21. On the first play of the quarter Arkansas State would kick an 18 yard field goal to go ahead. However, Joe Waters would score with a 41 yard run on the next drive to put Eastern Michigan up 28-24 and give them hope for their first victory in a long long time. Unfortunately, the momentum didn't last a play, as CB Tausean Holmes took the ensuing kickoff 87 yards for a touchdown (he had another return that put Arkansas State inside the 20 yard line of the Eagles earlier in the game). After Eastern Michigan failed to score on their next drive and punted, Arkansas State was able to drain time off the clock as they drove inside the Eagles 10 yard line, before being forced to kick a field goal with 1:14 left.

Eastern Michigan had 1 timeout and about 80 yards to go on their final drive. And after a huge pass got the Eagles to the Arkansas State 40 yard line with under a minute to go, people were starting to think Eastern Michigan could pull off the upset. A first down incompletion and a second down incompletion set up a short run on third down that left Eastern Michigan with no timeouts and a 4th and 6. Gillett overthrew an open receiver on a curl route and Arkansas State was able to knee the ball and get the victory.

For Arkansas State, QB Andre Smith was 9/11 for 97 yards and a TD, with 10 rushes for 49 yards. Dontae Aycock had 26 carries for 167 yards, and 2 receptions for 25 yards. Aerion Williams had 3 catches for 34 yards and a TD.

For Eastern Michigan, QB Alex Gillett went 6/16 for 169 yards and 2TDs, with an INT. HB Joe Waters had 14 carries for 249 yards and 2TDs, and WR Kinsman Thomas had 4 receptions for 78 yards and a TD.

    ULM 42 v UAB 21

UAB scores the on their first drive of the game but this was the only time they held the league for the rest of the day. ULM doesn't only score on their next drive, but on their next 5. UAB made some bad turnovers today that ULM took advantage of. ULM rushed for 219 yards with 107 of them coming from back up running back Donald. ULM QB Wells went 14 for 19 for 319 and 2 TDs. His only mistake was a interception at the end of the first half near the goalline. He sat for most of the 2nd half until UAB pulled within 14. ULM's D held UAB to only 32 yards on the ground. Overal this was a game dominated by ULM and the 42 to 21 score made it seem closer then it really was.

Though I was happy with the win, I would have rather faced Recchem2000. To bad he couldn't play.

Utah State lossed to UL Lafayette 62-52. Not sure if Snoopy is going to do a write up or not. USU led 28-24 at half, but 4 turnovers turned into 28 unanswered points for the Cajuns in the 3rd quarter. 52-28. Aggies closed within 7 but a ULL field goal sealed the game in the final minute

Its what happens when your team losses and they lost in the same game.
