Michigan knocks off #4 Nebraska 27-7

After going down 7-0 early in the game it was time for Michigan to do some work. Michigan's defense held Nebraska scoreless the rest of the game. Once again both Michigan's HBs got injured so Denard Robinson and 3rd string HB freshman Justice Hayes were forced to carry the load. Robinson finished the game with his most efficient passing performance of the season going 9 for 12 for 135 yards and 2 TDs. He also ran for 152 yards on 18 carries and a TD. Freshman Justice Hayes added in 98 yards on 18 carries. Nebraska QB Taylor Martinez had a very efficient day as well, throwing for 125 yards on 9/10 passing. Nebraska FS PJ Smith had 16 tackles.

After beating Nebraska, Michigan is now in a 3-way tie in the Big 10 Legends Division. If Michigan wins out they'll face Notre Dame in a rematch for the Big 10 championship!

Preston Brown Turns in possibly the best individual performance of the year-

Coming into this game the Louisville defense had been easily the bright spot on this team but it had been more of a team effort with a different stand out every week. Preston Brown had been the vocal senior leader and tonight he showed that he can be more than just a leader he can also show em how its done on the field. He racked up 6 tackles 3 tackles for loss 1.5 sacks 2 interceptions a fumble recovery and 3 defensive touchdowns. Nope thats not a mistake i said 3 touchdowns, and unbelivably this happened in only the first half as the Cardinals were ahead handily at the half. the first of his touchdowns came in the first quarter with his team down 7-3 and cincinnati was looking to score again off a sack fumble,

after that point the cardinals never looked back and ended the half 41-10. The second half was pretty dull as the louisville backups were in the game and the offense just played keep away running the ball. Louisville only had to pass 5 times. Teddy Bridgewater went 4 for 4 19 yards but did pitch in 128 yards and a touchdown running the ball. the team would rack up 248 yards on the ground to easily defeat the bearcats. Louisville looks to continue on the Big East trail with a showdown with new conference member Temple.

    Players of the Game
    Offensive- Teddy Bridgewater 4 for 4 19 yards 6 rushes 128 yards 1 td
    Defensive- 6 tkl 3 tfl 1.5 sacks 2 int 1 fr 3 td's

Josh Stewart leaps to catch his first touchdown of the game

Cowboy fans were riled up today. For only the second time in 10 weeks they were able to see their team host a football game, and this game did not disappoint! A total of 76 points would be scored by both teams on the day and defense was hard to come by. The first play of the game really set the tone for all four quarters. Clint Chelf found Tracey Moore for 33 yards on a play-action pass. The arial assault continued on the first drive of the game and three plays later the Cowboys were in the endzone. Josh Stewart leaped over the nickelback and plucked the ball out of the air before scooting into the endzone.
TCU responded by pounding the ball on the ground. Only two passes were thrown on the 8 play , 64 yard field goal yielding drive. The next Oklahoma State drive seemed to pick up right where the first ended. The first two plays resulted in 22 yards, but all momentum gained by the Cowboys up to this point would be lost on the next play. A triple option was called on the 2nd and 1 play, but Randle seemed to have been confused on the play because he was in no way ready to receive the pitch. His poor position allowed for an errant pitch to be intercepted. TCU wasted no time and scored on the next play. The pass to corner of the endzone was originally ruled incomplete, but after a booth review the touchdown was awarded to Brandon Carter. After receiving the ball, the first quarter continued to be unkind to the Cowboys. On a 3rd and 6 Chelf attempted to complete a slant pass to Isiah Anderson, but the pass was intercepted by cornerback Jason Verrett. Verrett exploded through Anderson and the entire stadium was in disbelief there was no pass interference penalty. The first quarter ended with TCU in possession of the ball and a 10-7 lead.
The first quarter may have ended negatively for Oklahoma State, but the second quarter held many big plays for the Pokes. Despite turning the ball over two possessions in a row, the defense stood tall. TCU was able to kick a field goal after the interception, but the Horned Frogs only held a 13-7 lead. The Cowboys moved the ball down the field quickly and efficiently during their first second quarter possession. Only 0:53 seconds were needed for the Black and Orange to find the endzone. The Cowboys were back on top 14-13 and were looking for a defensive stop. TCU Quarterback Casey Paschell had other plans. On a 3rd and 10 Paschall stared down the blitz and was able to find Brandon Carter streaking past Free Safety Daytawion Lowe for a 40 yard touchdown. The Horned Frogs reclaimed the lead 20-14 with just under 3:30 remaining until half, much too much time for Chelf.
Surprisingly, the Cowboys opted to focus on the running game before the half. Joseph Randle was able to gobble up 24 yards on the drive and gave the defense much more to worry about. The new rushing threat put a burden on the already overwhelmed TCU defense. "We started off very strong throwing the ball, but we knew that their defense could make plays, and they did. So we decided to try and balance things out heading into half in order to keep them from focusing too much on the pass and it worked. By focusing on the run in the second and third quarters we had the potential for really big plays on play action," Gundy stated. Play action was exactly what got the Cowboys in the endzone for the third time. Isiah Anderson found himself wide open on an in route as a result of the play action. Anderson caught the pass at the 8 yard line and would have been able to walk into the endzone had he chose to.

Tracey Moore catches a TD with 0:03 left before halftime
With only 1:41 remaining until half the Black and Orange knew they had one more opportunity for points, but the defense needed to step up. "I told our guys to go out there and get us the ball back. Once they did that the offense would do the rest," Gundy stated when asked about his fiery speech to his defense. The defense was not able to take the ball away, but they did force a three and out. The Oklahoma State offense stepped on the field at their own 30 yard line with 1:11 remaining and one time out. Chelf could not have engineered a finer drive. a screen pass to Randle resulted in a 32 yard gain and after the first play of the drive the Pokes were already a threat to score points. When asked about the drive Chelf responded, "I just kept thinking, 'Don't get sacked' I knew we had a timeout remaining, but I wanted to save that for our field goal team if we happened to get stopped." The offense was not stopped however, Chelf stepped up into the pocket and delivered a strike to Tracey Moore with 0:03 seconds left.
The red-hot offenses seemed to cool in the third quarter. TCU moved the ball fairly well on the opening possession of the third quarter, but the drive resulted in a failed 4th down attempt on the Oklahoma State 38 yard line. The Horned Frogs had only a yard to go, but once again the Cowboy defense made a huge play when called upon. The Oklahoma State offense was eager to continue its dominance. The Cowboys drove done the field and once again entered the Horned Frog redzone. However, this time the TCU defense made a play of its own. Middle Linebacker Joel Hasley stepped in front of tight end Zac Veatch and picked off Chelf at the 9 yard line, ending the scoring threat. The Horned Frogs would go on to score a touchdown with 1:43 remaining in the 3rd quarter and would tie the game on a two point conversion. Just when it looked like OSU would open the flood gates, the Horned Frogs turned the tables and knotted the game up at 28 all.
Despite turning the ball over three times in the game, Clint Chelf still remained poised. The Junior quarterback continued to sling the ball all over the field an was already building an answering drive while heading into the fourth. The Pokes scored on a 12 yard pass to Josh Stewart with only 5 seconds ticking off the clock in the 4th. The Black and Orange defense again stood tall in the 4th. TCU was forced into a three and out early in the quarter. The Cowboys answered with a 41 yard field goal. At 38-28 the Cowboy defense again put the clamps on. TCU was sacked on 3rd and 10 and was forced into attempting a 4th and long with under 2 minutes remaining. Paschall was unable to convert the nearly impossible situation and the Cowboys took over. The Pokes attempted to milk the clock by running the ball, but were unable to gain a first down and could not take more than 15 seconds off the clock due to TCU's timeouts. Quinn Sharp connected on his second field goal of the game and put his team up 41-28 with 1:15 remaining. The Cowboys played loose prevent defense for the last minute of the game and TCU took advantage of it. Coach Gundy commented on the last TCU drive, "We didn't want to get beat deep and give them a quick score, but I was still a little upset at how we played defense in that last minute. We had multiple chances to intercept the ball on that drive and throughout the game and again we were unable to do so. It's disappointing, but I'm happy with how were playing right now."

    Wake Forest Outlasts Clemson 28-20

It was a wild affair in South Carolina, and Mrs. Momentum was a fickle mistress all game long. Clemson would score the only points of the 1st quarter on a 47 yard FG. The 2nd quarter would be a different story, with 35 points scored between the teams. Wake would take the lead early on a 28 yard TD pass from Tanner Price to T Davis, but Clemson would answer with a 2 minute TD drive, capped off by a short Boyd run. The host Tigers would extend their lead to 10 after a Tanner Price INT, and this time Ellington would find the paint from 5 yards out. Just as things were on the verge of getting out of control, it took Wake Forest just 2 plays to answer, this time Price finding an inexplicably wide open A Willis, who would trot 84 yards to the end zone.

The Wake defense would hold, and the Deacons would re-take the lead just before the half on a QB scramble from 8 yards out. 21-17 halfitme lead for the Deacons.

Defense and miscues would be the storyline in the 2nd half, with no scoring in the 3rd quarter. Clemson kept themselves within striking distance for as long as they could, but Orville Reynolds, subbing in for the often injured starter, would score a game sealing TD with just over 3 minutes left.

Virginia Outlasts GT Option Offense 33-21, Despite Injury Bug

UVA coming into this duel with the Yellow Jackets knew that if they could win, they could put themselves in the top 25 for the 1st time in the season. UVA got off to a decent start by scoring a field goal from 21 yards, to put them up 3-0 early on. But then on the next GT possession UVA run committed to the right but the QB handed the ball right to the fullback up the middle to score a 60 yrd TD run. After both teams put up 14 in the 2nd they game was 21-17 GT heading into the half. In the third things started to get even more shaky. First one of my best defensive players and my KR Nicholson got injured for the rest of the year. Good thing is that Nicholson is my most promising young player, given that he is only a sophmore and is rated 85 overall. Then again my RB Parks got injured for the 3rd straight game, but thankfully he was only out for the remainder of the game. While the UVA defense held GT scoreless for the rest of the game the offense scored 7 in the 3rd and then 9 in the 4th to win the game 33-21. Next up for UVA is @#24 NC State.

Silly you. It isn't a bug. It's natural for your HBs to get injured every game for 8 straight games :p

    #1 LSU rolls in Columbia

    #1 LSU 31
    #23 Missouri 13

This is J Lo, The Big Booty Hoe reporting live from Columbia Missouri as the Top ranked LSU Tiger took on the 23rd ranked Missouri Tigers in the ESPN primetime Game of the Week as well as GMONEY TV. The Tigers were able to survive a very Hostile Missouri crowd and come away with a 31-13 victory to stay unbeaten on the year. LSU got off to a fast start once again and drove down the field and Randall sneaked it in from 1 yard out to give the Tigers an early 7-0 lead. Missouri came right back and Josey ran around the left corner and up the sideline on a nifty 74 yard run to tie the game up at 7. Then ex QB now WR Russell Shepard caught a 70 yard strike from Zach Mettenberger to give the Tigers the lead at the end of the first QTR at 14-7. Missouri All Big 12 kicker from a year ago blasts one from 55 yards out to close the gap to 14-10. Then Shepard went to work and caught his 2nd TD pass of the game from 67 yards out to give LSU a 21-10 lead as that was indeed the score at half time. LSU then forced a Missouri punt. Then the Tigers moved the ball well and Mettenberger hit All SEC TE Chase Clements on a 20 yard TD pass to give the Tigers a 28-10 lead. Barrow then hit a long bomb as it was from 53 yards out to trim the lead to 28-13 and that's how the 3rd QTR ended. Both defenses settled down in the 4th QTR. LSU was able to put together a decent drive and Allerman kicked a 27 a 27 yard FG to complete the scoring and give the Tigers a 31-13 victory. Ah here comes coach GMONEY walking up to the podium and this is what he had to day to the Media after the game.

    NOTABLE LSU STATS

    Zach Mettenebrger 11/17/233/3tds
Spencer Ware 15 carries 86 yards
    Chase Clement 5 rec/ 46yards /1td
    Russell Shepard 4 rec/ 153yards/2td

LSU Defense had 6 sacks and 1 int

GMONEY: "What's up bitches? ( The Media laughs) Well we came out today and played a good ball game. This concluded a very tough 4 game SEC road trip and this team is beginning to play the GMONEY style of football that I like to see. Yes we still need to improve on some things on both sides of the ball. We can't relax as we need to be ready as Alabama is coming to town and they are a very good football team and well coached. OK time to go now and meet up with my coordinators to prepare to the Crimson Tides visit to our house. I will be taking no questions as usual. Soooo Thanks for coming out, god bless and good night."
There you have it. Coach GMONEY is a man with a few words. This is J Lo, the Big Booty How reporting live from Columbia Missouri for GMONEY TV and ESPN as the Tiger remained undefeated on the year. For those around the world who watch GMONEY TV and espn, I wish you farwell and good night,
