Well...Columbia is an easy scout. He literally ran two different plays on offense. It's either run up the middle, or slants. He threw in one play action play just to change it up once.

Defensively, somehow his linebacker kept shooting the gaps on my run plays and hitting me for a 5 yard loss. It was ridiculous. Not a fun game. If you are lactose intolerant, you'll have trouble playing him...

His linebackers were shooting the gaps because you pull both your guards.

My guards only pull on the counter. They don't pull when I run my other plays. And I only ran the counter twice. Once it worked, once it was a 6 yd loss. But my power run, his LBs shot the gaps and made the tackle in the backfield. Either way, boy should change his name from Chaze to Cheez.

Both your guards pulled on 90% of your run plays against me this year and last. Unless you just came up with a brand new gameplan, your gaps are wide open and LBs shooting in there and catching your RB from behind is how you defend it. That was my scouting report on you. I was 'shooting the gaps' too but it didn't always work because my LBs were young and dumb.

Regardless, running two different plays offensively, is not sim. It is not mixing up the playcalling.

By the end, i was running 4-4, and shifting both my DLine and LBs inside. Then bringing my safety up to sit on the slant. He didn't run anything else so I didn't have to worry about being caught out of position.

I haven't played him but I don't understand how someone could beat the shit out of you with just HB Dives and Slants. Both of those are basic plays and you can use them as much as you want, imo. If an offense of inside runs, slants and PA passes is cheez, the SEC has some splaining to do. Once again, I haven't played the guy, I'm just saying. This smells of sour grapes.
