I let you all down. My team came in over confident to face Nik. I didn't play as conservative as I normally do because I had too much faith in my players. I quickly realized how much better his team was than mine. His linebackers are so fast it's ridiculous. Regardless, I was down 28-0 in the first half. Maybe if I played smart I could have made the game closer, but winning was very unlikely. Then to make things worse, my 50 inch plasma just went black. The whole screen went black and I have not yet figured out why or how to fix it. So that really sucks.

    Army Defends Their Turf

Things looked grim as Army received the opening kickoff and gained 0 yards and forced to punt after a quick 3 and out. WKU came in with the gameplan to take away the run and did just that, bringing tremendous pressure on run blitzes. WKU raced out to an early 14-0 lead before Army was able to make some adjustments. WKU was daring QB Teddy Wilkerson to throw, and he did just that. The heavy blitzing left WKU's depleted secondary on islands against Army, more often than not with no help over the top. Army's offensive coordinator noticed this and dialed up some plays to take advantage of just that, and Army stormed back scoring 21 unanswered in the 2nd quarter to take a lead into halftime after things looked very ugly early on. After holding WKU to a field goal to start the half both teams pretty much traded scores the rest of the game as Army held on to capture a big win. The Defense really helped fuel Army's comeback and kept them in it during the 2nd half as they forced QB Nate Barbour into throwing 4 INTs. Army's Teddy Wilkerson came out and looked polished in this game after WKU dared him to throw as he finished the day 23-33 for 419 yds 4TD and 1INT. After stuffing the run game early, Army was only effective inside the goal line and late in the game as they got loose for some big runs. HB Vic Harrison, fully healthy again, lead the ground attack with 17 carries for 103 yds and 3 TD. Army looks to get back on track after a sub stellar start to the season and faces Coach Redd and MTSU next week.

Yea I could go tonight if we've advanced. I'm usually free around 330 both Thursday and Friday though and they would be better for me.

Reason we cant play tomorrow night is because of a small thing called the NFL Draft....unless you wanna play way earlier than it starts. I'd rather play tonight though.

Tomorrow is first round only. Besides, I love watching even the later rounds... I'm a huge college football/pro football fan and this is the one event that they are married together.

If you had the #1 pick, who would you take? I'd take either Peterson or Fairley.. I dont trust Dareus, Newton, and AJ Green plays a position that is notorious for top 10 busts.

I'd take Von Miller, but that's just me.
