Happy National Signing Day everyone! Hope your team loads up on surprises....please no more USC decommits, though. I will need an exponential ammount of booze if Eddie Vanderdoes picks Notre Dame or UCLA tonight. Hopefully today's ceremonies inspire some good content for recruiting in our league!

I am an Iowa State alum and fan, so we never have a top class. This years class so far is full of solid players that should develop and help build the program.

Von Bell was a HUGE surprise....I heard he was Tennessee all the way but apparently he just pulled the trigger on your Bucks. Kids a stud.

After a tight 1st Half, Michigan puts away the Golden Gophers with a 21-point 3rd Quarter to improve to 6-2 and stay undefeated in conference play. QB Jon Huff had another stellar performance and, aside from Minnesota QB Aaron Nelson running wild on several occasions, the Michigan defense held strong all day in front of the hostile crowd. Huff threw two touchdowns in the 1st Half, but Michigan only clinged to a 14-13 advantage at Halftime.
After Huff's 3rd TD of the day, Freshman WR Richard Robinson returned a punt 58 yards mid-way threw the 3rd that seems to suck all the life out of the Gophers. Minnesota would add a touchdown early in the 4th, but could not threaten any further.
Next, the Wolverines face another tough test at #17 Nebraska.
    Michigan
QB Jon Huff - 10/12, 237 YDS, 4 TD, INT
HB Brian Weldon - 19 RUSH, 91 YDS
WR Andre Kaplan - 5 REC, 86 YDS, TD
OLB Micah Walker - 4 TKLS, 2 SCKS
    Minnesota
    QB Aaron Nelson - 10/17, 88 YDS, 19 RUSH, 120 YDS
HB Lawrence Frank - 11 RUSH, 59 YDS, TD
WR Patrick Wilcox - 3 REC, 25 YDS
CB Lionel Barrett - 6 TKLS, INT
