a heated rivalry re-visited, as the Denver Broncos host the San Diego Chargers.

This was a little different, as the coaching in this one was done by Coach West, its hard to play with another team, and another offensive strategy, but West was up to the challenge.

game starts with a defensive first quarter with no scores

second quarter started with an Orton 14 yard TD pass to Graham to give the Broncos a 7-0 lead, deciding to not to kick a long FG early in the game, the Chargers find themselves in the same situation, but this time, the wind was in the Chargers favor, and Kaeting nails a 56 yard FG to make the score 7-3 Denver. Soon would follow it up with an 8 yard scamper by Ryan Mathews to give the Chargers their first lead of the game 10-7, a lead they would not give up, adding another TD with just 30 seconds in the half by a 3 yard strike to FB Hester just as the pass rush got there. 17-7, but the Chargers would play too vanilla right before the half, letting the Broncos get in FG range in onle a few seconds, pulling within 7 at the half, 17-10 SD.

Opening kickoff in the second half was taken to the house by speedy Mike Thomas, his 3rd of the season, giving the Chargers a 24-10 lead early in the 3rd, 2 FGs by Denver make it 24-16 going into the 4th.

in the fourth, Kaeting hits a FG from 46 yards out to give the Chargers some breathing room, 27-16, later they would strip the ball out of the Broncos WR, and picked up by Weddle, who took it to paydirt ending and chance of a Denver comeback, adding another INT by rookie sensation FS Dorian Hill to seal the win.

stats in this game were not important, san Diego spread the ball around so much, no 1 WR had more than 3 receptions, or more than 50 yards. throwing passes to 7 different reciever, Denver to 8 different, neither team could rush the ball, but Mathews started to enforce his will in the 4th quarter with a few drive saving runs that will not reflect in the stats book

GG West, I know you're glad to be back with ur team, turnovers killed u, and the first pass interference call against u ive ever seen, it was only for about 10 yards but it gave me first down.
