The Tigers traveled to Baylor and took it early and often to the struggling Bears winning 45-20 behind the strong passing of quarterback Chase Daniels. Daniels broke not only the season td passing record of 19 and also the single game td passing record as he tossed 6 td's for the day.

After starting to a 7-7 first quarter tie, Mizzou made some adjustments and poured out 21 unanswered points in the second quarter and never looked back.

"We needed this kind of a win today. There are some adjustments that we made that we can build on and take with us as we try to finish the rest of our schedule strong."

  3. NO Respect!!! This is now the rally cry in Stillwater. One week after going into Austin and beating the #8 Longhorns the Cowboys of Oklahoma State remain unranked. Having to take out their frustrations on Iowa State, will OSU finally impress the imbred BCS voters? We shall wait and see.

Texas Tech is the most frustrating team ever! So I have 10-12 Recruits coming to the Texas game and I tell my self "take the smart play, control the game, get the lead and run the ball." Its started off great, kick to Texas 3 and out they punt to me. Then Graham Harrell proceeds to throw 2 pick 6's on the next two times he touched the ball, I'm down 14-0 2 minutes in. That leaves me in hurry up claw back mode the rest of the first half. I gave up 31 points in the first half, and that is with them shanking a FG as time expired. I recieve the ball and once I give my self a pep talk, I need a time consuming solid drive coming out of the half. Pick 1st play coming out of the locker room. Fortunately I held them to a field goal, that would be the last time Texas scored. My defensive line played like the '85 Bears in the second half, saking Colt Mccoy 7 times (9 for the game) The run game began to develop and I hit a few key 3rd down passes. Tech avoid a total debacle at home 42-34.

My WR's are a mash unit at the time, 2 out and 1 missed almost the whole last game. Senior RB Woods was player of the game as he played the 4th Reciever spot and had 7 grabs for 131 yards, Rashard Hawk and Michael Crabtree both went over the century mark as Graham Harrell threw for 488 yards and 4 TD's. Barron Batch ran better than the numbers show neting 67 yards on 26 carries. LE Mikinner Dixon broke the school record for sacks in a game with 4.
